Does that mean I ought to take the time to watch it? I have this sneaky feeling that it isn't worth giving up any work time or play-with-kids time ...

I'll give you twelve guesses and the first eleven don't count. Hint: My candidate's name rhymes with "yo mama."

I think it was worth it, Lemur. If you could sit through McCain-Obama, this one was worth it.

And your question seriously belongs in the main election thread, since this thread is for the VP debates. You gonna get some mod mojo raining down on you head now, boyeeee!

Biden said Bozniak instead of Bosnian...is that a gaffe?
There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

He also claimed the vice president's job was laid out in Article I of the Constitution along with the president's, claiming that Article I was about the Executive Branch.

Of course, it's not- Article I is the Legislative branch. Further, Article I does say that the VP is the President of the Senate, therefore having a role beyond tie-breaking. But, I'm not really surprised that no one jumped on him for that.

Having read the Election thread now, it is clear that nothing that has been written here is not already in that thread. As it would introduce an element of confusion to that narrative to merge the threads, I'm going to close this one and ask you to continue the analysis of the VP debate in the election thread.
