First Night....

The group huddles in the dark, camped inside a room with only one exit, the doors barricaded and the men inside keeping watch in shifts. Tonight, Toyoda Guzman is outside, making sure no one approaches the door. His shotgun is at the ready, in case the frightening noises return.

The hall is pitch black, but the windows on the far side have been smashed in and boarded up. Some moonlight reaches in, faintly illuminating the dark hallway. Guzman is nearly falling asleep, as tonight, most of the noises have come from far below, at the street level. The mass of strange cannibals has not entered the building yet.

A blunt impact sends Guzman immediately to the ground, and before he can get up, his attacker lunges upon his prone body and begins to bludgeon him to death with a lead pipe. Guzman twists and blocks a lethal-looking blow, and plants his fist into the jaw of his assailant, knocking him off. Guzman leaps for his Red9, which has been kicked into the far corner, but the unseen attacker is immediately upon him again, ready to finish him off. Just as Guzman fires, the attacker knocks the weapon out of his hands and onto the fire escape. Guzman ducks another blow and softens another with his forearm, but now his wrist is shattered. He is knocked backwards onto the metal structure behind him, and down an opening in the fire escape. He lands on his shoulders with a sickening thud, but he has not lost consciousness yet. He reaches for his Red9, which had fallen down the fire escape, and lifts the heavy handgun with his working hand, and begins firing up towards the window.

By now, his attacker has dropped down to his level and has begun shooting several rounds as well. Guzman takes a bullet in the shoulder as he rolls off the escape and falls two stories to the pavement below. His attacker seems to be out of bullets, and is not stopping to reload. He tosses the gun and whips out a combat knife, and drops down towards Guzman.

Guzman fires, and the knife is blown from his assailant's hand, but his assailant lands a hard punch to his face and begins wrestling the Red9 from his hand. Guzman continues firing, but the bullets miss his attacker's face by mere inches. The noise from the fight echoes through the dark alley.

From all sides, the low moan and shuffling of hundreds of inhuman creatures is heard, and suddenly the fight between the two men comes to a sudden conclusion. Guzman is out of bullets, and his attacker drops him onto the pavement and knocks the gun from his hands. It goes rattling towards a mass of cannibals to the north.

Guzman's attacker delivers a swift kick to his jaw, and runs towards the fire escape. Guzman, bleeding and broken, is unable to pursue or flee. The hungry, drooling noises come closer, and closer... Guzman reaches down and pulls a magnum out of its holster, and takes aim at the lead zombie. A loud bang is heard, and the zombie's brains splatter against the pavement. His still ambulatory remains continue for a few steps, then collapse inches away from Guzman. The zombies move closer, and closer. Guzman fires again, and again... but he is surrounded.

They quickly envelop him and begin tearing his neck apart with vicious, hungry fangs... a bloodcurdling scream escapes from Guzman's throat, just as it is torn from his body. His remains are dragged away, leaving a bloody trail of gore...

Actually, YLC needed at least one zombie to begin the game. I volunteered to help out, because you know... signing up for a mafia game, only to die before it really begins?
