The recent disappearance of Toyoda Guzman had finally spurred the survivors into action. They had decided to “ostracize” who they thought was the killer democratically: in essence, they would simply lock them outside and leave them to the zombies waiting in the alleyway. A few votes were tossed around, mostly because of past experience or prejudice. They debated almost for a day until one of them spoke up.

“This is ridiculous, we can’t just throw 5 people out!”
“You have an excellent point. I’ll vote for you, since your character is of questionable content from our earlier talks.”
“Hey, that’s not fair! I’ll vote for you for that!”
“Excuse me miss, but doing so would put us in same spot we were before.”
“Oh…well then, nevermind…”
The accused looked at his accuser. “Now wait a minute, I speak up and then I get voted for? How’s that fair?!”
“I guess I’ll vote for you too, I mean, he does make sense and all.”
“Now hang on! Your going to gang up on me for no reason?”
“No, I’ll give ya a reason! The time you slipped into my store and stole one of my guns! You should be behind bars for that, and you getting out easy because of this outbreak just rubs me wrong.”
“Hey now, I have never been in your shop bud, so don-“
“Wait, aren’t you Felix Benedict? You’re that pickpocket; the one who broke out of jail, your face was on the news all over the city.”
“Wait hang on, lets not mak-“
“You are Felix!”
“We have a hardened criminal amongst us?”
“Seems so.”
“Now stop! Aren’t we supposed to be looking for the murderer?”
“Yea, I think we found him. Neva trust a guy like you, your kind has no respect for law.”

Felix tried to protest as he was shoved out of the warehouse and into the hot day, and before he could try to dart back in, the door was slammed and then locked in his face.

“This isn’t fair! What kinda people are you! I try to help you, and this is how you pay me! This is stupid, your gonna kill me over something as stupid as being “shady’?!” Felix’s anger boiled over and he slammed his fist into the door. “Fine, screw you all! I hope the killer puts a bullet in everyone of your brains!”

In a fit of impotent anger, Felix stomped away into the alleyway, hoping to find some kind of shelter from the undead that was now denied to him by chance.

May 16th

These past few days have has been a nightmare, those zombie things are everywhere. I thought I’ve seen the worst things that can happen in this world in prison, but this is just unbelievable.

Thankfully my ordeal is over for now, I met up with a bunch of people after I jumped out of my flat after the zombies broke in. (did I not write that down somewhere?) They seem like a bunch of nice guys, though one of them seems rather shifty.

Some crazy nutso has begun to kill people in the warehouse! What kind of demented freak would do that whilst we are in the midst of a living nightmare!?!?!?!?

May 17th Afternoon

Okay… some even crazier nutso has decided to “ostriche” or something one of us every day in order to get rid of the killing nutso. (Note to self: try not to speak too much; don’t want to get kicked out do I?)

Interesting morning, people just talked randomly, one of them tried to accuse me though, as if I am some sort of criminal (Note to self: Don’t let anyone find out about my criminal-ness)

Some stupid idiot named Ar-something said I should be kicked out for “obvious reasons”. Very tempted to steal his stuff just to annoy him. (Note to self: Don't let others find this diary)

Anne Crawford was out foraging, and she noticed something shiny on the table in the dimly lit room. It looked like someone had left a handgun behind. She tiptoed over to the desk, and lifted it.

Just as she did so, a zombie dropped down from the ceiling and forced her to the ground, and knocked the weapon from her hand. The zombie bit down hard on Crawford's neck.

Losing consciousness, Anne could not struggle effectively. However, just as the zombie was about to rip Anne's neck to shreds, a figure ran into the room, and delivered a swift kick to the face of the vicious cannibal. The zombie is knocked from Anne's prone body, and she immediately got up and ran out of the room, bleeding profusely. The lawyer, Jeremiah Griffin, began to fight the zombie unarmed, delivering punches to the face, tripping the monster, and kicking it down.

The zombie however has the strength of ten men, and grabs ahold of Jeremiah's leg, and bites down hard on it. Jeremiah screams in bloody terror, and from behind him, another zombie grabs the lawyer by the torso and holds him tightly, and delivers a vicious bite to the neck, relishing the sweet metallic taste of gushing blood. From the hall, countless zombies enter the room. Soon, they surrounded their latest victim.

Toyoda Guzman was among them... and looked the hungriest of them all. Drooling hungrily, he mouthed dreadful things to his victim:

"Mueren, mueren, mueren... Imbecil, quiero matar!!! Cerebros.... CEREBROS!!!"

Guzman tore open Jeremiah's head and began eating his brain.

First night away from the warehouse. I went back to the flat I found 5 days earlier and found it free from zombies, thank God. I heard screams and guttural droning coming from the direction of the warehouse as I settled in my new refuge; I'm guessing those losers got what’s coming to them. Strange isn't it? Yesterday I would have gone back and tried to save him (or her, I do hope Anne wasn't hurt, she seemed like decent person...), but now? Not anymore, not after what they did to me...

Note to self: Find (edible) food.

I don't know, I just ran.... I ran around in circles trying to find my way back. Oh my gawd. Is he back? Is Mr. Griffin back? He saved my life!

Gawd, you just threw one guy out to who knows what, and you're already thinking about who to get rid of next! It's still dark out! Can't we act like humans for a couple of hours?
