Yea, you might be right, but since it is impossible to surround you and starve you to death, what would be the purpose, as they say, in trying to provoke a sloth to stir?
Besides, your strategy depends on inherent imbalances and inconsistencies, such as you being able to recruit Successors at all, let alone have the ability to un-categorize the Greek Hoplite from being a phalanx. Cunning, but unworthy of repose.
