Odd, you always need a flash plugin (required for all flash including flv) for Mozilla browsers. The only time I have seen flash problems similar to those you describe is under Linux. Are you running Linux/BSD/OSX?Originally Posted by Crazed Rabbit

Are you running Linux/BSD/OSX?I recently downloaded the latest version of firefox and it's just terrible. Playing media like youtube means a new program - plugin something - that takes up as much memory as firefox. To top it off, watching videos will occasionally cause very hard crashes to a complete restart.
