He's brilliant as the eccentric genius, with the equally lovable Johny Depp the most entertaining actor at the moment, and kudo's for Judde Law for holding his own as dr Watson, he certainly isn't overshadowed. Great duo, you can really tell they are having a blast.

The Yards, excellent mob-stuff. Chalrize Theron is great as a beautiful girl with an incredible hot mouth and ultra-lucious eyes. Damn

    Kick-ass

Quite. Starts out as comedy but grows more sinister towards the end. Some excellent ultra-violent action scenes. Little Hitgirl pwns.

Minor complaint, how can it be that I hear the same tune in 3 movies, the music at the fight at the sawing whatsitcalled is directly from 28 days later, also heard it in Doomsday, it's a kick-ass track but still

    Robin Hood
It is a disgrace. Seriously, it was one of the worst movies that I have ever seen.

Inaccurate? Yes. But among the worst? Not by a long shot. The movie was done well- pity it was nothing like the real story.

I am not even talking about the story. (which was dumb as far as I see it. Robin Hood is a legend based in reality. Either make a movie about the legend or about the reality, don't just make crap up and then say it is Robin Hood, because it isn't.) The story line was as boring as heck, it slow and unbelievable as heck, the action was lousy, the leading female was disgusting, the characters were absurd and not in the least bit likable, and none of them were really consistent.
Honestly, I would rate that amongst the worst movies I have ever seen (all the more so for being such an insult to the Robin Hood legend and the history from which it sprang).

Now now, the action was pretty good. I think you are blowing it over proportion.
But if you ask me the copycat D-Day scene was absurd.

That and the absolute ridiculousness that was the camping trip/siege sequence at the beginning are mainly what I am talking about. I am sorry, but it just looked really naive to me.

Naive, yes. But bad acting? I wouldnt say so. If the title wasnt Robin Hood it could have been a good movie, mabye even a great movie.

So watching Into the Wild a second time having seen it when it originally came out. I have to keep pausing in the scenes with Tracy and Ron --- these are people who mean a lot to him and he says he'll see them when he gets back from Alaska --- but the whole time you know he's never going to see them again. Too emotional. The cinematography is sublime. I guess I identify with Alex to a degree, he's niave, idealistic, he has a scorn for society, but he's very selfish, and even though he makes great friends on the way he ultimately hurts them and his family in his quest for solitude.

Watching the HBO and thus awesome series 'inTREATMENT' and I must say that this really really good, it completely draws you in, utterly compelling tv.

Finally saw 'The Hurt Locker'. Technically it's a marvel and the setting is great, but the characters are a bit bland. Best sniper scene ever makes up for it.

    Toy Story 3.

It's hard to describe with words how great this movie is. I think it might be my new favorite film. Of all time.

Say wut? Done, best series ever. HBO is the god of passive entertainment, inTREATMENT isn't just a bit good, it's simply fantastic. So simple, a psychiatrist and a patient, but you totally buy their story's and they just seem like real people, after a 'session' you feel as if you really know them. Truly truly excellent 11/10

Just saw How to Train Your Dragon. It was probably the best 3D Animated film I have seen. Five Stars.

    I saw 2 movies:
    The Expendables
Good action, lousy plot, some characters annoyed me
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    like Gunner, for instance

    6.5/10

A very good movie! I saw it today and I must say, its the best movie Ive seen in a while. Good story, good action (not overdone), good characters that were developed in the time frame they allowed it to be (the whole thing occurred over a few hours). It was also really tense, put me at the edge of my seat. I highly recommend it.

Due Date. Words can barely express how utterly rubbish, trash, garbage that movie was. How did they make such a terrible movie with Downey Jr. as a front-man. If I wanted to sit in the dark bored out of my mind for two hours I would have gone and found a cave and stared at the walls, and I could have done that for free.

Really? I would have given The Expendables an 8/10 at least. I thought it had awesome action scenes, well developed characters, and tons of great one-liners. Yeah, the plot (what little there was :P) was pretty lousy, but it did not get in the way of the action. :P

I felt a lot of the characters were clichéd at best- and the whole thing between Christmas and that girl was way underdeveloped, IMO. And some things just did not do it for me, like the whole scene with Tool and the guy Stallone played, with the whole emotional thing. Just didnt fit with the rest of the movie, a lousy attempt at emotion.

But that is the whole point Hooahguy. :P What they did is tore into everyone of the actor's movie persona's with they characters. Statham being the insecure guy who loses in love to another guy and cannot take rejection, Jet Li with the whole small thing, etc, etc. The characters were all digs at the actors and in many ways a parodical cliché of their movie persona's. To me, that is one of the things that made it so good...that and the AA12. :D

Saw American History X, seen it before but forgot most. Because of a reason it isn't as good as people give it credit for. Fantastic acting yes, but it feels like there is a major hole in the story when it comes to character development, it isn't convincing despite Norton's best efforts. Still a very brave movie, nazi's are scum, so are gangsters, no excusing of either, no preaching I like that

I can't believe it took me so long to see it. The film should be required viewing for every American. It simultaneously dampened any hope I had in a successful resolution to the war in Afghanistan and renewed my faith in the American spirit.
