I have reinstalled Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy as of late. I am playing on the easy difficulty level, because the last time I played the lightsabor battles became somewhat difficult for me. I can manage now. I actually have progressed farther than I did the last time I played. My Jedi, named 'Poop Smell', is now a jedi knight weilding twin lightsabors! :D
Also, I downloaded KOTOR on Steam the other day and am playing that. I enjoy that game as well. My soldier class lady, named..., is doing quite well on the first level. My first ever RPG and I didn't know what I was missing! Though I have noticed something annoying. After combat sequences, my character gets stuck after all is said and done. I can't move her no matter what I do. I have to save, go back to the main menu, then load to move her again. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix or is this just a personal problem?
Playing M2TW on and off as well.

Press escape to get the main menu then press escape again to leave the menu that usually fixes it. No need to save and load.

Thanks, I am thus far. I thought of turning off the setting that disables movement during combat to see if that helps the next time I play.

Uncharted 2, if you got a ps3 get this game. Incredible visuals, truly spectacular, but it's also incredibly fun. Full of humour, fantastic Indiana Jones vibe (It's funny when Drake takes a beating), great music. I'm really impressed.

Make that 'stunned' this game is amazing. I want to hook Blake up with Cate Archer, that would be cool. What makes this game so good is that you don't even care about the flawless gameplay, (and flawless it is, when it wants to be a stealthgame it's a stealthgame, same for shooter, adventure etc), you want to know what happens next. Blake is extremely likable, he's bigger than the game he's the real star. Only 'No one lives Forever' pulled that of and this game is just as good, and that's saying a lot coming from me as I absolutely adore No one lives Forever. It's just as stylish, witty and self-assuredly silly, and full of little touches; genius is always in the little touches. Absolutely&utterly A+ material it's incredibly fun. And these graphics wowowow, not just a little bit good they are from a different planet, WOW

Whew, sure there isn't a problem with your harddrive or so? I've played through the whole game without any technical problems, wasn't quite as amazed as you are but it is certainly a very nice game, no problems with savegames whatsoever.

It gets into a loop, music starts repeating and nothing happens. And now I can only start again it forgot all progress, all savegames, they are gone, not here. Seriously broken this one is.

Unpatched it now it works, I didn't go console for a game that has 9 patches. It's a stellar game though NOLF has an heir to the throne, I'm absolulily loving it. Incredibly awesome. 10/10

Done, sadly. I am now too spoiled as Uncharted 2 sets a standard. Incredibly good game. Can't wait for part trois to see what kind of trouble Blake gets himself in next time, No one lives Forever and Uncharted should get married, damnya I can't aim if I'm laughing. Why can't more games be funny.

I bought a ps3 cause i was fed up with the pc game market and wasent really interested in anything outside totalwar. Just bought an i7 too and was a pretty pointless buy for me since pc games arent really any good at the moment.

Bought 8 top games for the ps3 and so far i tried red dead redemption which is excellent and continues to surprise me and keep me interested. God of war 3 which is very good but havent played it much, still got to try uncharted 1 and 2 which i hear are excellent and heavy rain. gran turismo 5 is ok but thats more for when friends are round so they can play the split screen.

Heh, that's funny, because so many people think all that is wrong with the PC market is the consoles' fault.

Depends on the games and what one is interested in but I also find myself lacking titles that I'm looking forward to ehile some interesting genres hardly get new games anymore. Spent a lot of time with the World of Tanks beta lately but it's not everyone's cup of cake.

The Uncharted games really are good, I found them a bit cheesy now and then but still really good, sometimes you just have to like cheesy anyway.
I'm intrigued about Gran Tourismo 5, could use a good racing game and loads of cars sounds very interesting but then I never played any of the previous games so I don't know what to expect in terms of gameplay, tracks etc. Is it completely in 1080p by the way? Most games are 720p after all.
Oh and what are the other two top titles you bought if I may ask?

As for myself, going to try Demon's Souls today, which finally arrived on Friday after three weeks, trying not to expect too much after all the praise it got here.

Baldur's Gate with the tutu mod that lets you play with the BG2 engine, for maybe the tenth time, then taking the same character into BG2 and ToB. Works flawlessly with the gog versions if anybody was on the fence.

Meh wanted to try hard mode and the game just refuses to load again. I am really amazed that a triple A title like this is so terribly broken, how did it get through testing it's beyond me. 10/10 for the game when you get to play it, but you can't play it if it doesn't load. Naturally.

Picked up Civilization: Revolution for the PS3. I wanted a strategy game but didn't want to deal with DRM or Steam. I have been impressed with it so far but the AI is overly aggressive to your civ and diplomacy is useless so you have to spend too much time building a military.

I won a cultural victory with India on Warlord difficulty and a tech victory with the Greeks on King difficulty so far.

What is the diplomacy like in Civ V? I could maybe put up with DRM and steam if Civ V is good enough.
Why did the chicken cross the road?

So that its subjects will view it with admiration, as a chicken which has the daring and courage to boldly cross the road,
but also with fear, for whom among them has the strength to contend with such a paragon of avian virtue? In such a manner is the princely
    chicken's dominion maintained. ~Machiavelli

Really basic. Avoid Civ V until the expansions come out. My mates have it, they've all gone back to playing Civ IV. =/

Bought Metal Gear 4 for 12 euro, lol that's a steal. I have been severally spoiled by Uncharted 2, need a knew cinematic experience to keep me busy. Haven't even beaten the Batman game and Assasins Creed 2 but playing them feels so meaningless

Just played Infinity Blade on the iPhone, it's a very cinematic experience, a bit linear(and short, but multiple playthroughs are a story element here so to say) but beautiful graphics, decent gameplay, and multiplayer as well as a new level are planned already.

Got no I-phone, got a much more advanced one, you can call with it and send text-messages, this baby even comes with 30 ringtones. Awesome.

And not going to buy one with the -going to be epic- 3DS around the corner. But must admit that that thing can really process awesome graphics but don't see myself playing games on it.

Ugh, that's horrible, I know it's very advanced to have custom ringtones etc. but I'm glad it's not possible on the iPhone, I would always make some and then feel terrible when everyone hears it as if they could all took a gaze deep into my character, the ultimate invasion of my soul. That's completely overdone but anyway, a normal phone sound has to do, got it on silent most of the time anyway.

Concerning the game, it becomes quite challenging, the comparison to Demon's Souls has been made and it's not even that far off, concerning the fights anyway, although you cannot move around freely in this one, not during the fights and not between the fights either, it's the fighting mechanics and difficulty that seem to bear a certain resemblance, you can block, dodge, parry and have to attack the enemy when he is off-guard, otherwise they will block all your attacks, the only somewhat cheesy thing is when the enemy is preparing an attack, opening up completely, you can only scratch them, not really hurt them. Overall a well-made game though.

you think you're ringtone is embarassing? mine, while funny as all hell in the right company, is downright embarassing in more formal company:
