It is not just one, it is many depending on the time it is flown. All the colors of the rainbow, individually or all at once! It is the dawning of the age of aquarious afterall! I don't have 99 red ones though. :(

It is. I became carless one day, turned my eyes for one second, and they all flew away. What were once a beautiful bunch of 99 red baloons became just scattered specks upon the sky. I don't have the will or strength to collect another 99 more. :(

I hope so too. But I think that the baloons are well out of reach now. Perhaps, someday, they will make their way back down to Earth a please another with there boyant pleasures, you perhaps. I, well, must do with out those little red 99 friends. One day, and balloon at a time now I guess. 99 someday, but for now, I must be content with one here, one there. I have yet to aquire one though. Excuse me now, for I grow emotional...

Ah, like I fear my floating 99 might be at this moment. Too keen on appeasing that fascination they have with the sun, a little to close and, 'pop'. Scattered threads of red shreads to litter the floor at my feet! *sob*

Twas perhaps 2 days ago. A pleasant, still afternoon. I held my 99 within both hands and admired the sunlight glowing from atop every rounded curve bobbing within the bunch. My eyes went from one to another, 99 times. I looked at my hands, to note if they were strong enough, and perhaps, worthy enough to hold such a beauty that had daily tranfixed my love. Pleased that my hands were indeed strong enough, though perhaps not quite worthy, I went again to grasp the balloon strings and, well, they were gone. Floating upward toward the sky, no longer within reach. I cried for them to return, but they listened not. Just gaily looked heavenward as the sky beconed them closer. I downcast my eyes and wept. My 99 continued to climb as I wept, I looked up later to see if they would show some pity and return, but all for not, they were gone.

Perhaps. At this point in my life however, I only think I can find true love again, if it falls from the sky and takes my hands within it's delicate balloon string and teaches me to love again. But I do know, that it won't take 99, just one.
