Well. I don't think it was "douchy" that he likes your sister, not telling you earlier was probably "douchy". Of what you have said about him he sounds like a decent guy, so isn't that better than some stranger who you don't know anything about going out with your sister?

If your sister is old enough to go to college, she is old enough to make her own decisions.
