A bus rolls into Sunnydale, beneath the still-dark sky. Lord Winter walks down the steps, then looks up.

Lord Winter: Is that, a ray of sunlight I see. Glory be, the sun has returned.

The light hits Lord Winter

Lord Winter: Shoot, a ray of sunlight. AAAAhhh!!!

Lord WInter combusts

The sun goes back behind a cloud, as Chaotix descends.

Chaotix: Hmmm. Interesting. I've never seen that happen before.

Cue opening credits

Buffy arrives at the mall, despite it's being under semi-constant attack by demons, vampires, and other nasties.

Willow: Are you sure this is really the time to go shopping?

Buffy: (staking a vamp) If I don't have time to go shopping at the end of the world, when will I?

A slime demon attacks Buffy, who decapitates it. It gets slime on her shoe.

Buffy: See, anywhere else, this would be a major problem. As it is, it's just a short walk to replace it.

They arrive at the shoe store. It's rubble.

Buffy: Alright, now I'm mad.

Buffy grabs a rocket launcher and starts to head outside.

There are literally waves of demons in the parking lot. Fortunately, they seem to be attacking each other as much as anyone else. Buffy aims and fires. Loud explosion, when smoke clears, the lot is filled with many dead demons and one dead Chaotix

Chaotix: I ... thought ... suburban California would ... be.... sunnier.
