There is no such thing as "extra credit", there is only "do or do not".
If you are to do an exam, you answer the questions and marked on how well you answered them to a maximum marking standard. In University tests, it is near impossible to get over 80 (out of hundred) on an essay, but some how if you ended up being Dexter, Boy Genius, then you might be able to break it.
Only except are mathematics where there is a definite answer, but you are marked on how and getting the answer, they don't give you free credit for spelling your name right.
