It was the end, then.

Visorslash had gone off wandering at night, quite far. Very far, as a matter of fact. Far enough to discover a completely different section of the campground that, as far as his knowledge went, nobody had ever been at before. This section of the campground was still as soggy and ill-provisioned as the part that everybody was familiar with, but it did have something quite unique and possibly the key to surviving the killings for the night:

A castle.

Granted, it wasn't actually a medieval-style fortress complete with a moat and towers and turrets and several layers of wall, but it was still a castle. It did offer some protection. And Visorslash decided to make the most of it, entering the castle and ascending to the top. Here he would hold this castle until morning! Here he would wait, throwing back all potential aspirants! Here he would make his stand against those who would do him harm!

It had been a very long road for Visorslash, driving his long-forgotten car some eight years ago now away from his home for the final time, pulling out onto the highway with "Backstreets" by Bruce Springsteen blaring in his stereo, and he had seen and lived through quite a lot, even more than most of the other like-minded campers here. A true veteran, Visorslash had worked a hundred different odd jobs over the years, slept in a thousand different beds, and made contact with various people from all walks of life too numerous to count. If anyone had truly experienced enough to fully understand America, it would be Visorslash.

However, this experience of the country and the people, while truly grand and life-enhancing, came at the expense of something critical: modern military strategy. For, yes, while Visorslash did hold the top of a small and insignificant castle, the person who had tracked him there had a far more potent advantage. Had this been the year 1168, Visorslash might have held out until morning. However, this was 2011, and his killer had a laser-guided sniper rifle with him.

Visorslash's body crumpled and his lifeless corpse fell off the castle, the momentum of the bullet knocking him off the edge., all of his beautiful experiences over the years for naught.

That morning, one mood truly took hold in the campground: panic. They were now down to an extremely paltry five. Everyone looked even more nervy as usual while tending to the fire, someone's hands shaking too much to successfully tend to anything.

Andres, I know you didn't ask me but the only reason I haven't voted Chaotix or ATPG (yet) is that I'm not sure who of the two to lynch... I think they both have a point in their "feud" against each other, although apparently one of them is the scum. I just can't make out who it is yet...

There's nothing in this post. No opinions or thoughts on either person that are his own. It's fluff basically, pure and simple.

My mind hasn't changed and the day isn't over, is it? I'm still trying to build cases and read reactions and I have to say I don't like yours. Of course part of it is probably self defense mechanism since you're voting for me I'm trying to figure out how your reactions would look were they taken against another player.

Sorry, but this "I'm scum" act that has been going on for several rounds now, is starting to be a very annoying distraction. Apart from the fact that, imo, Pizza does sound off and a bit scummy in this game, it would be good if he died now so that we don't lose focus in the last round and make the right choice then.

Also, the unwritten rule that you can't claim mafia in vanilla games, even if you are mafia, should become a ruthlessly enforced written rule.

You said that you felt khaan was more likely scum than I was. What changed your mind? Clearly I've done something that has made you suspect me more. I'm curious as to what that is.

I reserve the right to have fun with this game, as it is a game, and break the established code of conduct for what a townie is and is not supposed to do. For what is strategy in a game of bluffs and lies and gambits if only commonplace bluffs and lies and gambits are considered acceptable? Gets downright predictable.

I have done some boneheaded things as townie which have screwed up games by accident. Those sorts of blunders are "okay" because I was trying. Well here, I am trying to win the game for the town and also happily enjoy the Wine In Front Of Me at the same time, because I like a double-edged game and if people really want to risk the game on my head because I was being "distracting", as if townie pizzaguy making big cases on suspects based on nothing but guesses isn't distracting enough, then so be it. Scums got to enjoy a fun show, and town shoots itself in the foot, and lols were had by many.

The only thing that really matters is where I place my vote, but to illustrate my point:

Here, I distance myself from Scienter. The plan was, when either of us went down, we were to be open about our guilt, so at least the town would know they got one. And then our voting pattern against one another would become apparent, and the other would look innocent.

I have switched to Khaan because, just to state it one more time, I have voted you just to see reactions basically and I didn't think I'd get any more meaningful reactions from you, thus I went back to the suspect I stated before seemed more likely to me.

Examples for ATPGs bad townie behavior will have to come from somewhere else, as I have stated numerous times that I doubt him being Mafia...
