That's disingenuous, I could point to his stats and show how he's a better player than any of the 3 starting mids for Farcalona, but I won't.

Never had a liking for any Spanish clubs, but I think Getafe just won me over.

In a desperate bid to build its fan base, Spanish football club Getafe has released a video urging fans to become sperm donors in order to breed more season ticket holders.

The tongue-in-cheek video opens with a fan standing in front of an empty stand under the words: "There's a problem: there aren't many of us." Then the voiceover tells us there is a solution, as the camera pans to the fan's crotch. We next see him in a sperm donor clinic collecting a plastic container. Yeah just a guy trying to get the honour which actually a few clubs deserve. Genk and Standard mainly, but many smaller ones as well. RSCA who always try to take credit for Lukaku on the other hand doesn't, the only thing they should take credit for is brainwashing the kid. Brugge as well, only recently are they doing some good with the kids. Many of the players listed were grown abroad anyway.

The first goal of Belgian talent is to move to France or the Netherlands, in their early or mid-teens. Hazard is the product of the French youth system, Vermaelen of the Dutch one.

I do think there are an awful lot of very talented Belgian players around. It is about time they qualified for a major tournament again. I want to see them in action again, would love to see some major nation make the error of underestimating the Red Devils, only to get some teeth knocked out by 'em.

The thing is, who could Arsenal sign? Who would even join a team so blatantly in disarray? Now Arsene, that chap is pretty darn lucky the transfer window is coming up. I have never been one to advocate sacking managers, Northern Ireland have had some awful ones over the years, but McMenemy is the only one I've ever actively wanted out, but I think he deserves the sack. Allowing the situation that has developed to develop is down to Wenger and Wenger alone. If he spent the summer trying to get Nasri and Fabregas to commit then he wasted the entire time, when he should have been replacing them immediately. The fixture list came out ages ago, he should have looked at it and realised, Liverpool at home, United and Newcastle away and two Champions League qualifiers, I need players in for those. Scott Parker is supposedly hours away from signing for Spurs, he's been available all summer, had he been in the centre of the park today they would not have lost like that. Cahill has been available all summer, he should have been playing today, Welbeck would not have shrugged him aside like a schoolboy for the first goal.

He appeared tactically naive today, and yes I do feel silly saying that about Wenger, but it's true. As much as anything, what was he playing at with those substitutions? Your right back goes off but you don't replace him, bizarre.

Oh, and Andriy Arshavin. Play with 10 men from the start, it would make no difference.
