- I didn't really think it wise to try to off the nuetrals to reach my goal, plus it would be a total jerk-face move after the help DCmort was giving.
- Considering all the bad lynched at the end, I think DEs ability would have helped us had we lynched him and now I regret not doing so haha
- I misread my role PM and thought I could lynch block indefintely, but at the cost of them knowing it iwas the politician. A lynch block doesn't really help the town unless the blocker knows for a fact that the person is innocent, and with my victim I was about 80% sure. Had I known I only got one shot, I would have CLAIMED right after I did it, it may have resulted in people trusting me a little more, but I was afraid I would be a constant target if I admitted it, and even more so if it turned out I saved a mafia. I tried to use it again to save Traitorix, which explains my behavior that round, and TLD was like "um no"
- I created a cover role for a cover role for a mafia. Brilliant. Yeah, I have trust issues. And here I was thinking the last killer was nuetral.

Well it was all in your role PM although I think one of the things I need to do better next time is wording of the role PMs. There was obviously some confusion about these.
Yet your victory condition was to kill all the Mafioso. The game would have ended if there were none of them left
I said it to TLD before and in the Dead Thread, but I'd just like to repeat that I loved the role I had (Joel the OCD Factory Owner). Great idea TLD. Also, well played to everybody, particularly the mafia of course .
One thing that struck me as odd as why didn't the town lynch known neutrals. That would have helped in the cause as we eventually saw. So next time we should go after neutralss, no matter how potentially useful they might be, since they are not always useful for the town, as was the case of him blocking the town's cop on the first night, that is very much a scum move since it does not help the town. Overall I do have to say this was a good game, just frustrating how I came to meet my end in this one.
Well I don't think you can call that a scummy move, rather an unlucky move. dcmort was trying to play for the town all game but N1 targets are always rather blind shots. This leads me to the last part of my thoughts:
1) I think the town relied too much on their abilities. There were so many that it got confusing and I did foresee and to some extent want that. You guys didn't follow regular scumhunting anymore. B_Ray got attention for being scummy early in the game but nobody followed it up, rather believing the MRD-network's conclusions. Analysing what someone posts in thread should not be neglected I think, even if you have some powerful abilities at your disposal.
2) You guys didn't really analyse the writeups methinks. I'm curious if anyone has discovered the subtle hints I have left in quite a few of them but I won't tell what they were There was one night where it wasn't as subtle though: On Night 4, when Visor died, right after Captain Blackadder got autolycus lynched on his scan result, dcmort blocked khaan, who was doing the Mafia kill, targetting dcmort himself.
The kill writeup was different in several aspects:
1) The killer used a non-silenced gun, which was different from all the other kills before
2) more importantly: No Old-Man-Poem!
Who killed Visorslash? That was Captain Blackadder, with his one shot vig kill
The next day no one noticed the differences in the writeup and even Blackadder himself didn't speak up about the fact that it was him who killed Visorslash. You could have nailed khaan there, a round earlier with actual evidence
3) The fateful night 2, where Johhog, the doctor, died:
This was an interesting nightphase for me. I got all the orders in and it looked like this:
Kill on MRD (autolycus)
Doctor Protection on MRD (Johhog)
Bodyguard Protection on MRD (Warman)
Busdrive MRD with Johhog (Seon)
Also Ishmael scanned for Warmans name that night
So I went into doing the writeup with a whole lot of actions around this group of people and since I had decided that anything that happened to the person who would eventually die would somehow show in the writeup they all had their part.
Now, the doctor's protection was invalid after the busdrive, because the doctor cannot protect himself.
The bodyguard's protection was valid so Warman would have taken the bullet instead of Johhog, thus fulfilling his personal goal of either dying instead of the cop or the doctor and the doctor would have still been alive.
I start writing this writeup around 10:30 because I always tried to be ready as close to 11 as possible to give the next phase enough time. I had the whole writeup finished and it looked like this:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Again the musician sat down and soon his voice and music was heard throughout the chalet:
Four of the men were sitting in one of the lounge areas, playing cards and obviously one of them was winning all the time as his laughter only got louder while the others cursed him for his incredibly good luck.
"Impossible!", one of the men cried out when Mr. Johhog revealed his latest hand and laughed out again. For a while it really seemed like the three of them were able to forget the situation they were in and they looked just like a bunch of old friends enjoying an evening together.
Suddenly another guy approached, walking on a cane but clearly capable of doing without it he came over and pulled up another stool without asking for permission or even greeting them. He was ignoring Mr. Johhog and two of the other guys, smiling at the one guy who had been losing all night. "So what are y'all playing?"
"Fives and Threes."
"Ah, fantastic. And what's your name?" the strange guy replied and stared straight at him, every hint of friendliness gone.
Startled by the sudden shift of topic and mood our unlucky friend hesitated for a moment until strange guy made a fist and bashed it down onto the table. "Come on!"
"Alan, my name's Alan", he shook his head, "Jeez, you gotta calm down dude..."
The guy stared for another moment and then laughed. "HA! Alright, no worries, have fun, friends." He giggled a bit as he got up and slowly walked away towards his room, followed by four pairs of eyes staring in his general direction even after he had vanished into a hallway. Alan was the first to shake off the weird feeling, mainly because his nerves tingled at something he saw out of the corner of his eye.
"There look!", he cried out and even though it was a little dark in the room, not easy to make out who was who, they all could clearly see the dark figure, hiding where Alan was pointing, near the other exit of the room. Quickly the figure lifted up a silenced pistol and aimed straight at the lucky Mr. Johhog. A suppressed shot was heard and Johhog closed his eyes, bracing for the impact, but Alan got up with unbelievable speed, jumping forward, taking the bullet for the actual target. The killer cursed but, knowing the tumult would have alerted other guests, he ran off, closely followed by two of the card players while Johhog was holding on to Alan, his saviour, who was dying right there in his arms.
He was already dead when the two others returned, having only found a piece of paper in the trail of the killer:
This old man, he played three
He played knick knack victoriously
With a knick knack paddywhack
Give a dog a bone
This old man came rolling home
In the morning they were all called to the dining hall again, visited by a clearly disturbed Thomas Ladislaus DeLaney and a jovial as ever Alex Taylor Paul Grearson. DeLaney looked at a sheet of paper he had held on to for so long it was crumpled between his fingers and then spoke up: "Alright. It seems like our poor Alan ELITEOFKWARMAN88GINGERBREADMAN has passed away yesterday, after heroically saving another one of our guests. Let us remember this sacrifice and make it meaningful. Find the murderers!"
BUT... at 10:59 I got a PM from Nightbringer that he wanted to protect/block Warman. You know the rest
I think that's about it:
Again, congrats to all the winners, esp Diamodeye and his total victory, even though it got a lot easier for him than I thought it would be
Thanks to everyone for playing and a special thanks to Pizza for help with the setup!
