Oh, almost forgot, what do you have to say about Warman ATPG? He's a lot quieter than normal.

Firstly, I just want to say you're awesome for even bothering to read all that.
As for Warman, his style of play is to not be particularly discussion-oriented. He will vote, usually, so he's not a worthless townie when he's townie.
You hear that Warman? Positive things to say.
That said, if he's scum, he's not going to leave a lot of tells other than his vote record. And he's leaving a vote record to examine.
See who flips scum, don't even bother scanning him yet. So far, his play reads okay to me. Not in the same style as a talker player, but still contributing in his own way.

It's fair enough Ishmael. I'm just pushing theories out there, I can't vote, and I can't stop you from doing your own thing.
Your objective as of right now is to find out which one is the best lynch that I'm not recommending. Don't leave it up to me to solve this, please by all means scum-hunt. It's pro-town of you to do so.
Find the scums, gimme reasons.

I'll take a different approach to ATPG, and list the people I think aren't scum (no way that this will come back to bite me later, no sirree):
Ishmael
Believer
Bestrfcplayer
Tratorix
Yarapolk (most questionable of this lot, I don't really know his style)
I frankly can't be bothered to trawl through the thread to find evidence to support this list, and it's based entirely on intuition anyway. I'm also not really sold on B_Ray being scummy, but I'll refrain from making any judgement at present. Finally, I don't want to touch the scan results with a ten foot stick at the moment, considering all the weird mechanisms that have been bandied about - I'll let other people analyse those.
I believe you on Believer.
I believe you on Bestrfc (for now).
Yaropolk I'd scan, not lynch. He's leaving few tells for sure, and he's not very flinchy. But he's VERY good, I wouldn't count him out as scum based on this record this game. he's good enough to pull it off.
Tratorix, I get the scummy vibes from. His vote on Monty could be distancing, I'm anxious to see if he follows up this round on Monty.
As for yourself, getting better. But the vote on me plus the shirt still made no sense. That's going to haunt you if we don't end this game quickly, Ishmael.

Bear in mind that whilst I liked your idea of checking Memnon, I was seriously considering the possibility that you were Mafia pulling an all-or-nothing stunt that would either lynch you (but probably not your buddies), or win you all the game. Besides, I do play Mafia games for the purpose of enjoyment, and hence may not always do the most rational thing if it means I have fun (you'll note I was trying to break your 'streak' at the time).
There is no way that Monty and Tratorix is scum together though, scum don't want to create connections among themselves in thread, as they did when they self voted for shirt and agreed on an alliance.

"Gimme" reasoning? Would you be able to clarify that for me?

Well I do tend to vote for people when there appears to be several valid reasons for them to be scum. But as long as you're calling for my investigation and not my summary lynching, that's fine by me.
@Johhog: Gotta love ABBA. That's one of their better songs too, IMO.
Well, I'f he's got nobody better to go for, I may as well. I only recently discovered that if you die as town but the town wins, it still counts as a win in the statistics thread; so if te scum kill me due to being cleared, it's not all that bad.
Well this sounds right, just want to double-check one thing.
Would you willingly volunteer to be the scanee for tonight? I have a feeling we're going to lynch you at some point, but clearing you would do wonders for the town's chances.
Seamus could be a blind lynch after Monty and Johnny. You, I'm feeling better about scanning.
If you're townie and you die, we didn't lynch you, which is great.
If you're townie and you don't die, you'll be the next one with the shirt.
It's an offer I insist you not refuse.![]()

Why can't I be scanned?
Before we continue anymore, I think we need a tally of votes to make sure we don't get another accidental no-lynch, unfortunately, I have to run 9 miles soon, so if someone else could please do this. Interesting idea Pizzaguy, I wonder how many mafia we really have?
With a true investigation result (assuming townie uses it) expect there to be at least one or two additional scums over standard vanilla.
That means the goal is to make sure scums get the shirt. That's one reason why Monty looks so bad right now.
I have to nap now but a tally would be useful. I do know if you vote for Montmorency you'll be pushing the tally away from a tie.
IIRC the tally is like Seamus 2, Monty 2, Yaropolk 2, Warman 2 or something.
Switch your votes to Montmorency.

I actually like Pizza's analysis on Seamus better. Unvote; Vote: Seamus
Also, I am sure there will be a twist to the investigations with the shirt. I dont know whether it always returns innocent or whether scum can decide their own results, but something will definitely be up, believe me. For that purpose I'd like to have a second chain of investigations independent of the first.
I am asking for the shirt with the promise that I will investigate the person who gets the 2nd most lynches (so the most suspicious person that's not lynched). I am sure in my own innocence and this will give me some insight into what the shirt actually does. For the rest of you it should give some comfort that I am not going to direct the lynch in private but will let democracy decide.
I meant 2nd most lynch votes* Also don't take this as me protecting Montmorency, if he's the second most voted person, I will investigate him.
Interesting case, pizza. You are underplaying the value of your earlier analyses in swaying my votes. Some of my willingness to lean on Pop and Memnon was a direct result of your "wouldn't it be a neat trick if the mafia had the shirt" line of argument. Your getting whacked along with the results leads me now, as it did you, to trust the shirt results more. Remember, too, pizza that I am nowhere near as prolific a poster in any mafia as I was in my first 2-3 games. I can probably be caught out as in a power role if I am signficantly more frequent, but a 1.5 per phase rate is probably about normal for me anymore.
Lynch me if you must folks, tis part of the game, but I am not mafia this time through.
Actually, pizza, i think your arguments against jht are more on track than the others, though I admit that is based on my remembrances of his relatively low post count style and that he seems more active in this one. That could be, in part, because of your quoting him, but I don't think so. Anyway...
Vote: Populus Romanus for the shirt, and
Vote: Montmorency for the hempen jig.
Whoever ends up with the shirt should check one of the three pizza has put the spotlight on. One of the three will no longer trouble anyone.

Did I already vote by the way?
vote: Seamus Fermanagh
