Having Pycelle send out letters like that would be part of his duties at King's Landing, Greyblades is skirting the boundaries of the rules on NPCs with them though. I was about to post it in the Lannister QT but I guess this will suffice.

I would also like to congratule Greyblades on his excellent Tywin rping, he has you all arguing over something totally irrelevant in the scheme of things.

Eh, the picture is fanart, (you should see what they have for tywin, sheesh, his hair is practically luminescant)so it's not much of a source, the appearance part of the wiki says he's bald with a shadow of a beard. As for history, I have no idea.

Hardly anyone but the Greyjoys have a fleet though...attacking the Riverlands now makes as much sense as Ned declaring himself "King of the Iron Throne and Seven Kingdoms". Why didn't they just stick to raiding and call it a day?

Maybe if Ned would be so kind and tell the rest of us Robert´s will.There might be a King who´s duty would be to protect his vassal Lord´s. To the contrary the Hand of the King seems to have gone mute.
