He votes for Seon for an obvious joke post, then goes on to criticize anyone who votes someone for a joke post as "stupid".

His relatively late arrival in the first phase, coupled with that post made me think that he did not receive the same PM that I got reminding people that the game had started. For this reason, at the time I believed that to be less of a joke post than any of the other ones that have since been used as 'evidence' against people. The first day phase is a different situation to the second because in the first you have literally nothing to go off. From the second onwards reasoned arguments are possible. It is an inflexible player who looks at things the same way on day one as they do in all phases henceforth. Hence:

He keeps calling bandwagons "stupid", yet he defends his own voting by saying "At this point all our voting is still completely random so really there was never going to be any good reasoning behind a vote."

To make it even better, in the same sentence right here he even admits the joke posts are distracting and should be cut out. So tell me, CountArach -- if you've voted people for making obvious joke posts, and joke posts "are clearly distracting" and "should be cut out," then why are you so relentlessly voting Diana for being "hung up on these 'joke' posts"?

Joke posts provide a barrier for the mafia. Townies post up jokes then the mafia can just follow the stupid bandwagons, like the one that was being followed by the majority of people on the second day, and thus hide. So joke posts are stupid and should be cut out. Does that mean that the people who post them should be lynched? No. Of course not, that would be ridiculous. Instead people should stop them of their own volition for the good of the town.

As for some saying this was a stupid bandwagon; it may end up to be (most do), but GH did alter/manipulate the round, being that his goal to do so or not. A lot of player did think the round was over. Talking/posts slowed a lot after that post, and many of the town were confused by this (also why I asked Pizza to put the end round time from now on to prevent this from happening again). That post may have stuck GH's head out more than most would if they were mafia, but as a lot of you thought it was probably a joke, it could have just gone by without another thought. A risk but it could have turned out to be a good mafia play as well. Frankly, all GH had to do was come back and address it himself, but he never did. It would have been that easy, and maybe he wouldn't have been lynched. But when he didn't and others (esp. Chaotix-being a part of that lynch phase up for lynch at the time of GH's post), this only made me question his "towniness" even more. Apparently, I wasn't the only one that thought this way, there was a bandwagon on him after all, and I wasn't the 1st to vote for him that phase. You guys may not understand my logic at times, but at least I'm trying. And as for calling town (or anyone for that matter) stupid, yeah, really not helpful at all. Maybe instead you come up with your own case and present it.

As for the joke post issue, no don't stop the joke posts, they make mafia more fun to play IMO. I like this forum and the humor and cute little digs at each other in good fun. That's why this forum is my favorite out of all the forum I'm on. Just left another forum and probably won't return, because they are way too intense and nasty to each other. But if you make joke and it may effect the round, and /or tally, maybe you clarify that it was just a joke, so the town can move on from it, and go back to scum hunting. Just a thought, less confusion for the town is bad for the mafia.

That would never, *ever* be a good mafia ploy in such an early round. GH is not a bad mafioso. What nefarious purpose would be behind it? Saving a partner? Any mafia trying to actually manipulate a day 1 tally deserves the utter roflstompming they'd get. That's what's on my nerves, that people actually think the mafia are devising, legally questionable tactics to save each other on DAY ONE. I can't stress just how utterly... ineffectual and poorly thought out such a strategy would be. That anyone thinks GH, of all people, would resort to it on day one is baffling. Originally, I was going to harp on this until everyone relented on it and admitted it was/obviously should have been a terrible bandwagon and then go actual mafia-hunting. But now I'm starting to think you actually *might* be mafia. So I'm going to stick to my guns until you're lynched.

Askthepizzaguy grinned awfully. "As that Alaskan lady would say, YOU BETCHA! Now, let's cut right to the good stuff. Andres, a little mood, please."




Suddenly the sky went black, and the atmosphere roared with wind and lightning. The ground turned to dust, which soon became mud and gravel. The noncombatants stood around the others in a circle, suddenly dressed as cloaked druids.

On the ground, there was a blood red circle, strewn with bones and teeth and all manner of what appeared to be human remains. The circle was chanting for violent, sadistic death.


In the center of the circle stood CountArach, Diana Abnoba, and Rickinator9.

• Wearing green, and looking an awful lot like the Incredible Hulk, CountArach stood towering over the others, with a look of pure hatred on his twisted face. And somehow, for the purposes of this writeup, he was also a vampire.
  

• Rickinator9 looked like an unassuming, mild-mannered newbie. How little did they know. THE FOOLS!
  

• And Diana Abnoba, rain washing over her illustrious body, stunningly stood out among all the others, a glowing beacon of ferocity, cunning, feminine wiles, and pure unadulterated violence. Somehow, even with the wind and the rain, her hair looked absolutely perfect. Now that's impressive.

Askthepizzaguy, the alien ninja pirate zombie ghost without a sombrero, stood before the chanting crowd, in long, flowing robes that looked absolutely Emp'rah on him. Oh, the glowing amber eyes, and the rotting face... Positively demonic! You can just imagine this guy frying everyone with lightning for no apparent reason. He's just that kind of dude.

It is that progressive and liberal concept of a FREE DEMOCRATIC VOTE that has sentenced you to your barbaric and overly-dramatic deaths!

If you wish to grovel for your lives, the great PIZZA LORD will now listen to your pleas. CountArach: HULK SMASH! HULK SMASH!!!!

Diana Abnoba and Rickinator9 look at one another, and then charge at CountArach together. Rickinator9 drop-kicks CountArach in the chest, while Diana Abnoba produces a bow and arrow, and fires it at the incredible hulk.

CountArach: "You shouldn't done that! You make Arach angry! You won't like Arach when he angry!"

CountArach explodes out of his green clothes, and starts to hulk out. He grabs Diana Abnoba and Rickinator9 by the necks and smashes them together.

CountArach: "HULK SMASH! HULK SMASH!"

Diana Abnoba gets up, and tries to fire another arrow at CountArach. This time, Rickinator9 punches Diana in the back of the head, and sends her stumbling toward Arach, who picks up a giant rock and smashes her with it.

The fight becomes a vulgar brawl, and the three of them tackle one another and began landing blow after blow. So far, CountArach has the upper hand, and the upper body strength, to hold the other two down and land the most hits.

Eventually, Rickinator9 ends up at the bottom of the pile, with CountArach sitting on his chest, smashing him in the face, and Diana Abnoba cutting at his legs with her hunting knife. But they soon find out that Rickinator9 is not.... quite... human....

Rickinator9 becomes The Rickinator!

Diana Abnoba: "He's not just a mafia player.... he's a Transformer!"


Rickinator9 starts firing laser beams out of his eye sockets, stunning The Incredible Arach. Diana Abnoba barely avoids being crushed by his lumbering frame, as she fires another arrow directly into the CPU of the nefarious robot warrior.

Rickinator: "DESTROY... DESTROY..."


Diana Abnoba shoots another arrow, hitting CountArach in the face, while Rickinator transforms even further, with protruding sawblades and laser blasters and hammers and all sorts of other.... robot-y.... things.

Rickinator: "YOU ARE AN ENEMY... ALL ENEMIES MUST BE RICKINATED."


Diana Abnoba: "Hey Rickinator. You're about to be Arachrolled!"


Using her Pendant of Memories, Diana Abnoba summoned the Master Sword from an entirely different mafia game, and stabbed CountArach in the chest.


CountArach: "HULK SMASH?"

CountArach stumbled backwards, and landed on top of the clinking, clanking, clattering collection of caliginous junk that was the Rickinator.


Rickinator: "I MUST BE COMPLETE-"


*KABOOOOOOOM*


The Rickinator exploded, showering Diana Abnoba and CountArach with molten shards and assorted shrapnel.


CountArach vowed revenge, lifting the heaviest rock that he could find over his green head.


CountArach: "ARACH SMASH! ARACH SMASH!"


Diana Abnoba shrieked, and decided it was time to fly the coop.


"Fly my little blue cucco.... fly fly away, before it is too late!"


But this was no ordinary cucco. No, this was a Legend of Zelda cucco. Which, as you're all aware, are easily angered, totally indestructible, incredibly violent, and are known to swarm like locusts.

The Blue Cucco started clucking madly, and an entire swarm of Blue Cuccos came flying in from the side of the screen, and they all started dive-bombing CountArach, which didn't really hurt the massive green giant, so much as tickle him.


CountArach: "NO TICKLE ARACH. BAD CHICKEN!"


But it was too late. The swarm blinded and distracted the green giant, just as Diana Abnoba took out a Megaton Hammer from her inventory screen.


Diana Abnoba: "Anju smash."


And the great green vampire hulk thingy known as CountArach was dead, slain by a thrown megaton hammer to the face, which caused him to drop his gigantic rock on top of himself.

Poor Arach. Always chooses rock.

"Well, that was at least mildly amusing. Kthanxbye." Suddenly, Askthepizzaguy vanished, along with his incredibly handsome sombrero. And so too did the gloomy rainy circle of death vanish.














You know... I thought we were just going to get together and have a simple little vanilla mafia game. But noooooo.... You kids and your fancy narrative bells-and-whistles. In my day, people got "shot" and we liked it.
