My observations tell me that Rome is not a game programmed to use the operating system's built in virtual store system. Unfortunately, some of you have proven otherwise. As most of you know, the norm is that when you save a replay after a battle, that replay lands in [Rome directory]/EB/replays. How convenient is that? I see some of you have to go to the hidden folder located in your users folder in either of the two latest Microsoft operating systems in order to grab those replays. If you are wondering how you may avoid having to do that, the only solution I know of is to uninstall the game and reinstall outside the Program Files folder. That is to say, you must install in the root of a hard drive (for example, C:\Rome or C:\Rome - Total War). Program Files-internal software and their corresponding data files are dealt with by the OS in that virtual store.
