Germany went on the wrong path on Atomic Bomb.
In term of technology in weaponry, they use the same than the Allies, including USSR.
The Wehrmacht was lacking of sub-machine guns, the standard rifle (Mauser 98 A or K) was from a design of the Pre-1 WW, as indicted by the 98 marking.
In term of tanks, it was the use, the tactic that was more advance than her opponents, this was true on the Western Front, but that true not on the Eastern Front. The French tanks in the 40s’ were better (in some aspects) than the German counterparts and when used properly, gave a bloody nose to the Panzer Divisions (i.e. battle of Gembloux). And in the East, it became even worst for the Germans. From the uniforms to the weapons and tanks (with few notable exceptions), the Germans were under the Soviet standard.
For the “miracle” weapons, the German were ahead for missiles, but these were useless weapons. They spend precious resources in men and material to hit London when the Russians were heading to Berlin. As the new generation of planes, the Germans were ahead with the ME 262 (mainly) but the Allies were just behind. The GB Gloster Meteor arrived in 1945, and had the potential to be developed, Germany couldn’t afford. It was in 1944 that the soviets experimented their first Jet Engine, not based as the western Propaganda did successfully spread, on German Design. They used, as the USA, and included German technology, but they had their own research, as the Italians, the French, USA and the British.
