Welcome to the backroom Crandar, I hope you enjoy your stay!!Here, nationalism is the feeling when you consider your nation above the rest, while patriotism is the "good" version, where you are just proud of your nationhood without simoultaneously underestimating the other nationalities.
I am not sure, of course, if there is the same difference in the English language.
