I think that is my problem as I check auto tax and titles. It hasn't been a problem with my Sax camp. or Viking but Scots yes.

If you want to use auto-tax, add the -loyalty switch to your VI shortcut properties. You want to set the level to 120 or 130, 100 doesn't take certain things into account and leads to surprise rebellions.
    Code:
    "C:\games\Total War\Medieval - Total War\Medieval_TW.exe" -loyalty:120
This will also affect the AI taxation levels, which leads to a better game in general. The AI factions don't collapse as easily and tend to build better garrisons.

Just wondering, worth doing even if using manual taxation since it affects the rebel (I hate that word; independents) AI?

Not the rebel/independents, but the other AI factions will be improved and the game will be a little harder. So probably worth doing.

I did this with no revolt and no auto tax as well works great.

You should try appointing governors in especially rebellious provinces the generals who have two or more skulls for dread.
Also, you should tech up to produce spies - they keep the province loyalty as high as possible.

I will keep that in mid drone but I use the -ian switch just to check on the AIs budget but will keep that in mind.I seem to be doing ok with auto tax off and doing it myself.

I would like to stop all the bribing as you catholics can't bribe Vikings-Danes and Muslims.
