i don't mind it if you note that he, in your opinion, "contradicted himself", but grilling him over it on a point so unessential, in particularly one that i'm fairly certain is mostly a misunderstanding on your point, seems suboptimal

Questioning a contradiction is almost never suboptimal. Questioning contradictions and challenging people is how you play the game, you don't just wait for scum to hand you blatant slips and clear evidence.

he literally said he's played on the playground for three years, and one game on the org recently

so he played with a couple of players on the org, and apart from that unless you've played on the playground during that time span he's never played with you

Except that likely is what he meant, but it's not what he said:

I've only played one game on this forum before, and I recognize a handful of the players from that game in this one. Unless you've played on the Playground in the last 3 years, no one has played a game with me before.

And when asked by novice, he didn't clarify that was what he meant, but continued to talk about himself:

So, besides the one game here on the Org, all my mafia/werewolf experience is from the Playground.
