I would be very surprised if Jan is a wolf fwiw. This isn't quite the level of when I say it about Dya in recent games here but it's only just below that.

    Fair enough

I can sometimes feel like that with Jan but not so far this game

After talking with lissa last game about needing to be more concrete and confident about expressing reads I am trying to do that here.

    1. I think Waza's approach thus far is more likely to come from wolf Waza. I think there are posts made here to look villagery rather than to express opinions on alignments. This distinction is one that I struggle to articulate all the time but in this case it amounts to I believe villa Waza would have more succinct reads that he would expand upon if asked or needed while instead we have more elaborate "getting from point a to point b for a read" posts. Both the one about Rask and the one about Ladd's "lmao" both strike me as posts designed for people to look at and say "wow good thought process Waza, you're really thinking intricately about the game so you must be a villager" rather than for waza to just be spitballing early reads.

Caveats of it's mid day 1 in a chill mostly rvs game so far and I am allowed to change my mind in the future apply.

    2. Vanta's post about it looking like Visor is trying to chain something together and he doesn't like it is villagery for the exact same reasons I find Waza's posts wolfy. I look at it and say "wow good thought process Vanta, you're really thinking intricately about the game so you must be a villager". Werewolf is a stupid game and I am able to hold these two thoughts simultaneously.

They seemed like normal intro posts to me and will wait for more stuff to make a read. Looking forward to maybe actually being around at the same time for once. Third times the charm right?

I feel like this doesn't make sense in my head regarding the Vanta thing, Vanta hasn't posted a thought process that's super deep other then pushing back against the visor wall if you really want to count that, but I like the waza thought if I strip of what kind of player I perceive waza as

I'm gonna be real, there is some silly posts about what I've said already

Oh no I'm setting up a sneaky chain to kill people

There's nothing sneaky about it. I literally said I think they are w/w. There's nothing hidden in such a blatant statement lol

There's no smoke and mirrors, it is literally just the read that it is lol

But what will you do if one flips villager?

I'm going to just double down obviously, it's the children who are wrong

Ofc I will reassess, even if I was a wolf making this read on villagers I'd at least pretend to reassess

    Basic ww 101 lol

Unironically it might be Sunbae as wolf too.

    Sadly. :(

@Visor why were you so obsessed with me on D1 in terms of getting a full cast consensus on my posts?

honestly i just thought your entrance was weak and i was trying to get opinions before saying anything in case i influenced peoples responses

but i also know that i have misread you in recent games so i didn't want to just go all in (also because we are friends)

part of why i gave ladd such a hard time when he thought you were lock wolf and then switched

I probably don't need to defend myself of this but like:
If I'm w/w and I want to get clear off Jan because I think they're gonna die then I just don't shoot and try to bus them hard today.

Shooting in the night is a KoolMechPlayz.tm but like, giving town an extra ml feels bad?

Like idk how I get more town points off bussing via gun rather than just voting during the day. And the night shot just gives town more room to find wolves.

i will say that im confused mechanically on why a wolf would ever give the gun to a villager in that situation unless they had the poison bomb, but i dont think you can know you had a poison bomb? id imagine a wolf would just give it to a wolf and be quiet about it. so theres a small part of me concerned that its a maple-esque "have a wolf kill a wolf in the night to mechanically clear them" play that we've seen in these small games, but i will cross that bridge if i come to it. hopefully its just maple/ladd

or perhaps gave it to cape, killed cape, and then had ender claim

or perhaps just gave it to the villager most likely to not kill him and it didnt work, shrug. ill worry about it if it comes up but wanted to get it out there just in case

  27. #27

Default Re: Kylo Ren's Banana Time Mafia

Yeah I thought about it a bit

    There's a few worlds

    If w/v

Gave it to villager who is not likely to kill him, or someone they think they convince. Or possibly someone who if they do shoot, is still suspect due to the argument itself, so it doesn't actually clear them if it doesn't work
. If it works great, you survive and get an ally and probably can still get the other fella killed if you die because they didn't kill you. If you die people may suspect that it was w/w setup and still potentially kill them

    If w/w
Killed to send deep, or you don't kill and try to align together or something

Banking on ppl thinking killed wolf therefore v

Jan was getting heat but he wasn't outed, and the wolves shot cape and not lissa or me so in that sense it's possible that they weren't playing for Jan to lock die

Jan did village read ender iirc and might've seen it as a way to potentially get both worlds either way

    Worth thinking about
