people have already started camping out again....Do I want to subject myself to dehydration camping in 30 degree weather and a 12 hour wait to get in only to have my fragile drunk body manhandled by 12,000 other students....yes, yes I do.

That was some nice running by my boys last night. When you rush for 472 yards, you know you are doing something right. I bet the Miami defense woke up a little sore this morning.![]()

I saw that. That win clears up the muck that is the ACC up a little. GT has the inside track in the coastal division now and I think they could give Maryland or Florida State a heckuva game. Then again I have always had a soft spot for Paul Johnson, can't get enough of that option!

Open dawg's mouth, shove football down throat. 409 rushing yards, in their house. It's been seven years since we beat the University [sic] of Georgia, this one was sweet. Paul Johnson for president 2012!

Time to revive this thread.
Penn State got creamed in the Rose Bowl. I could make excuse, but we lost. It was depressing. I wanted to die afterward. It didn't help one of my friends went to USC and made us feel worse.
And the U crushed Alabama in the Sugar Bowl! No excuses necessary over here.

Penn State's schedule is so weak this year it's pathetic.
*Looks at this year's schedule*
Well, we might have some luck in the Apple Cup, and maybe against Southern Methodist ( ? ), but other than that...

I'm feeling a strong performance from UNI this year. I'm thinking National Champs, all the way.

Come on Ice, we're playin' the mighty Akron Zips (will that be their score?), Temple (We could have played anyone, but we chose Temple...), and Eastern Illinois (who?). I just hope the offensive line gels before the meat of the schedule comes.
I'll actually get to some games this year. Last year I only got to one game (my worse attendence year since '71/'72).

Yeah I have no idea why we play such crappy teams. It actually pisses me off since no one will take us seriously and we will just get destroyed in another bowl game.
Good for you! I have season tickets so I'll be at all the home games. I'm really looking forward to a three day weekend and football in a few days! Well, most schools schedule such games too, so it is not just Penn State. These games give the team a chance to tune up for the real games later. Also, the small school like it for the $$$$ they get and their team gets to play in front of the crowd larger than the rest of their season (or two or three) combined.

And another season of beat downs begins. I read recently that our team hadn't "bought into" the new coaching staff last year. Given today's drubbing, it seems they still haven't.

Tech beat UND 38-13 but I'm still upset
some likes
-Potts was VERY accuarte
-The run D was in tip top form
-Bird, Duncan, and Henley are playmakers in the front 7
-I like the new core Potts has around him
-ST was really impressive, flying to the ball
Some dislikes
-Potts threw 3 picks agianst a team made up of what I thought were midgets he looked very rushed at times and needs to settle down
-Our WRs had 7 drops yesterday, with an offense like ours 7 drops will kill you
-Our rush blocking was horrunders we had a total of like 50 yards on the ground agianst a team that was half our size not good when we have to play UT in 2 weeks
-Our pass D looked plain bad. We lost 3 starters and it shows
Overall The team looked flat and confused. Ruffin needs to shore up the pass D or the Big XII will eat us alive. Hopefully the team was looking ahead but I fear we could be cellar dellwers this year if Potts doesn't calm down.

I am suprised that UND was able to get anything going against Tech. Doesn't bode well for the rest of your season. Hopefully you can get the kinks out of your game before the big rivalry game against UT
University of Montana 'Grizzlies' 38 Western State 'Mountaineers' 0... 'nuff said.
methinks my team may need to move up a Conference having been in 7 Championships in the last 10 years, and winning four of them.
