Don't see what is the problem. I've been playing my X360 version without any problems so far. The game is a blast, arguably the best GTA so far. Though Samuel L. Jackson is Samuel L. Jackson, can't beat that.
MUAHAHAAA!!!

And I was looking forward to it too. Such a pity that new games are all such monsters nowadays. GTA:VC and even GTA:SA were pretty managable for me.

And its times like this that I wished I had a console.
The high end computer hardware should beat PS3/XBOX360 no problem in terms of benchmarks, but Rockstar somehow messed it all up..... The thing is, I'm fine if you want to create the next Crysis, but for god sakes, at least support SLI/Crossfire.....Also, if you want a game that rivals Crysis's hardware requirements, at least make the game look as nice as the huge amounts of money needed to buy the hardware to play it....

How could something that graphics intensive not support SLI? That's insane!

Apparently now it seems whenever a big name game goes wrong in some fashion, its off to 1 star Amazon reviews....

I don't know. The last three GTA's released, I have PC versions of them and I have only tried the console versions for less than 30 minutes of each. I think that the game is just not optimized properly as it should have been, this is a lazy sloppy work. Really sends me a message, that they made enough of paper bags on X360 and PS3 versions. And like with previous titles, this is pretty much a straightforward port without too much stress and additional costs, testing. Plus, they are making new content for at least X360, this simply takes valuable resources. So there you have it.
What is funny to me is that as far as I know, these games have been developed in Scotland for ages. Core parts of them anyway engines, coding all that. Excluding soundtracks, maybe art, voice acting and testing (done probably mostly in New York). These are the same PC developers that started the whole franchise. I'm not sure how many of the same people are still there, but some of them definitely are and they are probably senior leaders by now.
