How is it too crowded? The only major factions starting nearby are the Sauromatians and the Getai. It is certainly much less crowded than Asia Minor, and a new faction was squeezed in there.
It is for the very reason that I think the northern Black Sea is actually fairly barren that I would strongly support the inclusion of the Bosporan kingdom. They are very well attested historically, have plenty of evidence to support their cultural practices, and, most importantly, there is lots of evidence to support an interesting and unique military. Plus, having a Hellenistic faction competing with the Sauromatians and Getai will present an interesting gameplay opportunity in that region.
Very interesting. I also hope they will make it into EB2.

This is from the New Factions thread on 10-12-08:
As you can see, I have predicted that this faction will be in EB2 for the past two months. This case for the Bosporan Kingdom will secure my victory and my coke from everyone who lurks in the EB2 forums.
Yes ACIN, you are always right. Good for you. Here's a cookie.
But, seriously, can anybody tell me what the actual name of the KCB would be in Greek? I believe that a good resource would be Demosthenes, but my Loeb library is packed away at the mo. If I get a chance to dig it out I will but in the meantime feel free to jump in!
