Misc.: Moved Sarpedon Syriakos and Mikithon K. Phoinikes toward Sardis as requested. The Army, however, has been left in Ankyra to keep order during the elections for Rix ton Galatikon (King). I've managed to gain the services of a Tamias, formerly in the employ of Polyxenidos Lykikos of Babylon.

This rule have been there from the beginning but no one haven't used it before. It was IC decision and not OOC. I hope you don't leave and that you will stay.

certainly, but as johnhughthom said it's not that the power is there he objects, its because of the abusal of that power without even having the courtesy to let him know

I Pm'd IK earlier, i'm having difficulty loading my the game as I have 1.2 installed and whenever i try to load 1.1 it loads 1.2, if you could please move my character (Nikanor Kybiastkes) to the 1st Parthian and move the 1st Parthian towards Petra that would be great

I didn't realize a PM was necessary. As for "abusal of power" sic., I did include it in my report, so I DID let him know, besides, what difference would it have made, it's not like a chancellor of a powerful empire would have all of a sudden "seen the light" and not taken the ancillary if he had need of him.

johnhughthom, I apologize for not sending a PM, I didn't realize it was necessary, and I hope that there's no lingering bad feelings over this. The reason that ancillary was taken is that I was instructed to receive more management skills so that an important Eastern settlement could be added to the Satrapy. In a gesture of peace offering, you can take any one of my ancillaries except the 2 with + management skill or the Satrap ancillary, any other one is open. I have a "wise man" that decreases squalor, that one may help you in a large and growing city like Babylon.

I wanted to wait a little before saying it, allowing Sarpedon to dramatically make his entrance and announce it like that. Phanias Lydikes is the chosen one.

One question, though: what happens with your RA? Do I get it, does it transfer to Phanias, or is it disbanded and replaced with a new one (presumably for Phanias)?

The death of Antiochos did kind of screw up my plans. Well, actually it's more correct to say it nullified it, since I had planned to let others lead my army until I became Basileus. One click later and that happens. Now I kind of "have to" command my own army as the Basileus. Not that I object to that, of course. (Hey! I made that rule up for myself. )

What ever you say here about Sarpedons plans will stay here because it is said OOC and not IC.

My former RA will be his, yes. Though, he can't have Satrapal Army anymore then.
He do have a choice to merge those two armies(his former Satrapal and my former RA) and choose the best units. He should remember that he can have max. 19 units in it. Although, there is another option. All those units can be used to strengthen other armies or used next Council Session as units for the next Regular Army.
Actually there is another option - disband them all and Merlinus can choose himself units that he would like to have.
