I just want to point out that you have to ask for my permission first to do that. You can't just take command over a unit that does not belong to you.

Don't want to hurry you but unless you at least post a result of the battle you will not get your promotion. You should receive 3 bp's from that Heroic Battle and 2 for capturing Hierosolyma. Without results I will lower both battles bp's by one and you shall only get 2 and 1.
But then again, Ptolemaioi will probably send another stacks against you so getting promotion shouldn't be a problem!

yes there are probably two 258-1-1 saves there, as when I took the save when the syrian army was attacked, I saved it as 258-1-1 and sent it to TCV and I should've saved it as 259-#-#.

There should be a "print screen" button on your keyboard. Hit it when you want to take a screenshot, pause the game, Alt + Tab and open up Paint, Ctrl + V to paste the screen into Paint, and then save it and upload to Imageshack or some other image hosting site. That's how I do at least.

To open a .rar file, winrar is a good program for it. I've never used 7zip myself, but I hear that's good too. Use either of those.

edit: I just finished a epic battle against a horde of rebels, took a screen shot of my heroic victory and then realized I had anti aliasing on. I know that normally not having screenshot takes one of my BP but I then saw that I had the crossed swords of a famous battle, do I still only get 2?

I think you'll still only get two, since I think we came to understand before that famous battles aren't necessarily heroic victories, and can thus not be used as evidence for such.

In any case, who is the adopter for the MotH offer? It's important, because it's he who decides whether to accept or not. (You check by accepting without saving afterwards, and looking up the MotH on the family tree.)

I think winners are more likely to get victor type traits, though this could be that in SP the generals that win famous battles for me are normally the ones that fight the most battles, also, in M2, if a general loses one and survives, he's supposed to get a "hates the -your faction-" trait, though that could just be SS6.1 awersomeness showing itself again.

when its all considered, the "oh yea, good battle memories" is a good enough reason to keep them in

As far as I know famous battle marks only come with Heroic Victories but not always.
And yes, you will still get 2 Bp's if you don't have a screenshot. I think I said that I will start taking 1 Bp less if no battle results have been posted(thus Clear victory will get only 1 Bp but I will not add -1 Bp to battles you have lost).

Well, that's to be decided during this council session. What can be expected with most certainty is that Alexandreia will be taken, and perhaps Memphis too. There are those who are pushing for Greece, and Edict 6.3 is going in that very direction. If it goes through one can expect that what will follow is a larger scale invasion, especially once Sarpedon shows up at the scene again. If not, it'll probably happen later.

That's pretty much all that's on the table right now. The Council is new and it's been rather quiet the last time. What I'm hoping for are some different opinions and propositions so that discussions can heat up once again. I also want to see a new Chancellor, but I guess I might as well ask for a Lamborghini too while I'm at it.

There are 8 people(including Sarpedon) who can become Chancellors. Leaving Sarpedon and Timarchos out it still gives 6 people who can become Chancellors. I actually would like to see Aratos show us how good manager he actually is.

Oh, I'm just being an arrogant . Of course there are other people possible on paper, but we all know who it'll be when the votes are counted.
