the link provided for Download Skullheadhq's PBeM minimod pack leads to file front page but i cant see any sources for a download.

That is because the minimod pack doesn't work. Instead, manually install everything in this order:

PBeM minimod
Lz3's minimod pack
Lz3's adapted Citymod for the appropriate version
Lz3's adapted Phalanx mod for the appropriate version
genericScript.txt from the Campaign Thread (In the first post)
