I'm sorry if my link to the trailer for a very silly movie has given offense; that certainly wasn't my intent. I don't believe that a depiction of arctic zombie Nazis is an attempt to equate Germans with the Third Reich, however, any more than Saving Private Ryan or Valkyrie are saying such a thing. Less, since those are serious movies and this one is unmistakably silly.
If you would like to discuss the portrayal of Germans and Nazism in films, and the implications of it, the place to go is the Backroom. The Frontroom is meant to remain relatively politics-free.

Meh. I'm not really that ticked off. In hindsight, it was pretty unreasonable to assume they were demonizing Germans as zombies. No, thats just too silly to get offended over.
I guess it was the old man acting like everybody was goosestepping around and burning people.

Hvil i fred HoreToreA man who casts no shadow has no soul.
And now the zombies are gone?
So they're not German tourists... That's a shame. The film's awesomeness level would have uber-escalated.
But one day I see a brave new world on film where German Tourists save the world against a zombie invasion.
One day... one day...
