The Finale, part V
Daybreak.
The remaining patients, Chaotix the cannibal, and Shlin the servant of the provider, emerged from the Crusty Asylum for the Criminally Interesting, which had been burning for days, in a slow, controlled flame. As soon as they emerged from the burning building, it collapsed on itself and was completely engulfed in flames. They walked away from the building, somewhat aware of the danger of being inside it. But now they were lost in the Greenpepper Mountains.
They saw the radio in the grassy field. Chaotix picked up the device and tried to eat it, because he hadn't eaten last night. As he bit down on a transistor, the radio crackled to life. The song that was playing was by Napoleon XIV...
They're Coming To Take Me Away.... HAHA!!!!

Chaotix dropped the device in surprise, and the insane song stopped. Then Shlin picked it up and bashed it against his head and spoke into what looked like a speaker, but it had been dismantled and replaced with something else.
"Hello? Glorious Leader.... my dear, sweet provider.... where are you? Taka, my idol, my God... please speak to me..." said shlin28.
"Hello? Who is this? This is the Greenpepper National Park ranger station number 13, with whom am I speaking?" crackled the voice on the radio.
"God.... is that you?" said shlin28.
"Oh no... another nutjob from that insane asylum across the state lines got ahold of a radio transmitter again... someone call the building's custodian. ...what? They still haven't gotten power? And the telephone lines are out? Oh my gosh, they must have gotten overlooked after that terrible storm. We'll send you a rescue crew right away, mister...?"
"Servant of God."
"Right, mister... Servant of God... is there a nice orderly or a doctor we can speak, mister Servant of God?"
Chaotix27 snatched the radio from shlin28 and shouted into the device.
"We are in the field adjacent to the Crusty Asylum, and it burned down... we are the only survivors... please hurry... please.... I am a cannibal and I haven't eaten in days... and shlin28 is starting to look like a rack of lamb...."
"I am the lamb of God. Please eat me, mister Chaotix." said shlin28.
Chaotix: "Okay...."

Chaotix27 was rescued by the team of volunteers who patrolled the mostly unpopulated wilderness in Greenpepper. They asked him where the Servant of God went.... and he replied.... "he's in a better place now." And the rescue workers nodded solemly, thinking they understood.
But Chaotix just smiled and thought about how delicious he was.
