    Isn't that odd though? Texas has massive problems of crime, poverty and gang culture associated with the criminalisation of the narcotic market. Can't see the wood for the trees I think.

    That goes for the entire country, and yes legalization/taxation would be a very good idea. However, people need to realize that prohabation does not work, and that cannabis does not equal crack cocaine.
