Hah, don't feel like the Lone Ranger about that, mea culpa. I had to go into the bathroom to look, since I don't buy it, Dove Bodywash.

When my hands get exceptionally dirty, greasy, stained, I use a bar of Lava soap with pumice to scour the gunk off first then hit the showers.

In my country, bodywash doesn't exist.

    Also, bar soap pwnz germs.

That's actually impossible... the soap cleans because it kills all that stuff, so how would germs live on the soap, which is toxic to them? In fact, if different people use your bottle of body wash it's probably a lot less clean than soap.

When you use soap, it merely assists in removing the germs from yourself which go down the plughole, it doesn't kill them, opposed to things like bodywash which possess antibacterial agents.

Well, that's just fine, but I still say that germs can't live on soap. If you don't believe me, try eating a bar of soap.

I use hand sanitizer instead of bar soap to wash my hands, other than that I prefer barsoap. In fact, in my country, there's no bodywash either, or I have not seen it.

Detergent is worse for the environment than bar soaps.

Bodywash. Just seems more practical and I feel cleaner afterwards.

Soap. Slippery. Not easy to accidentally squeeze it too hard and see half of it go directly down the drain.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

Thumbs up Re: bar soap or bodywash?

Soap. Leaves the body drier and scrubs out all the grease, soemthing I cannot stand. body wash is mild in comparison. Soap is also more economical. Despite this, I actually use both, as bodywash gives my body a pleasant, refreshing smell I would not achieve with soap (smell does not stay; too weak) or deodorant/cologne (I use antiperspirant and cologne is too stifling and strong).

If using bodywash makes me gay then sign me up, I like the clean feeling I have after use.

Maybe it's just the brands I was using growing up but bar soap always tended to mercilessly dry my skin out, so now it's (mainly) nothing but bodywash. Though i've been known to revert to the old traditions.

Of this I have no doubt, but we must consider the feelings of any gay Orgahs who stumble on the thread. "Gay" as an insult should be phased out somewhere around the age of twelve.

Getting back on topic, I sneer mightily at you wimpy "soap" and "body wash" users. Give me a bottle of peppermint detergent to scour my pores and burn my skin. I'm clean in a way you losers will never understand.

"pure" hydrochloric acid is actually Hydrogen chloride, which is a gas.

But seriously, there is absolutely no better cleaning product then gumption.

There is quite simply nothing that stuff won't shift. Although I think this may be an aussie product so all you non-aussies will have to live in filthy ingnorance of a true clean.

Dang it, I was hoping there was no one interested enough in chemistry here to notice. Fine, I lied. I use an 18M concentration of Sulfuric Acid.

Women should be offended too, because woman was used in the same context. :P I don't think anyone (me included) is saying there is anything wrong with women or gays, simply that a guy is not either and does not want to thought of as either (much as a woman does not want to be thought of as a guy). Just wanted to point out that being gay was not being attacked, we were just playing on 'macho' feelings. :P Respect
