Taking the save-for real this time. Done, moved back to Hekatompylos to quell rioting there with units from Army that need retraining. Marsyas has command of the rest of the Army. Basileios Sarpedon's Hypaspistai are en-route to Antiocheia to join him there.

Chancellors report, ending Spring 246

Military: Raised some units for local garrisons; Hekatompylos, 1 Gund-i-palta, Alexandreia-Ariane,1 Pantodapoi, Hibis, 1 Pantodapoi. Raised 1 Pezhetairoi for the Aigyptian Satrapal Army to replace losses.

The Makedones have betrayed our alliance and have besieged Pergamon! Needless to say, we are now at war with those treacherous dogs.

Construction: Work on Metalleia has begun at Asaak, to begin taking advantage of the precious metals in the region. In Hibis, the Government Offices are finished, Halikarnassos and Side both have a new Emporion, the Mega-Phourion at Persepolis is now in use, and Gabai now has Ochetos Lithinos Kryptos to handle the waste generated there.

Domestic Affairs: Rioting in my Satrapy! I have returned to Hekatompylos to restore order.

Chancellor's report-ending Summer 246

Military: Some recruiting for city garrisons; Ipsos-1 Akontistai, Hekatompylos-1 Gund-i-Palta, retrained Gund-iPalta and Pantodapoi, Alexandreia-Ariane-1 Pantodapoi. The treacherous Argeades of Makedonia are still besieging our fair city of Pergamon.

Construction: Phourion are commissioned at Hibis and Karkathiokerta, a Choma Kapellion is slated to be built at the port of Side, work began on a Mega-Basileion at Persepolis, and the Emporion at Tarsos is open for business. Repair work was completed on several buildings damaged in Hekatompylos recently, those being the Asklepion, the Didaskaleion, and the Megaron Epitropou.

Taxes: Raised to Normal in Dispolis-Megale

Foreign Affairs: The Sweboz and the Sauromatae are now at war, may the Barbaroi all kill each other and save us the trouble. Our Italian allies, the SPQR, have again received the Most Advanced Nation award.

Chancellor's report Ending Fall 246 BC:

Military: Reinforcements for the 1st Lydian Army were trained as follows; Ipsos-1 Kerouchikoi Phalangitai, Sardis-1 Peltastai, Side-1Hippakontistai, Mazaka-1 Kovkasi Lernain Netadzik. Also, a unit of Klerouchikoi Phalangitai that was en-route to Byzantion when it was overrun has been recalled to Ipsos, and will be reassigned to the 1st Lydian. Pantodapoi were trained for the garrison at Alexandreia Ariane, and Elements of the Parthavan Satrapal army were retrained at Hekatompylos as follows; 1 Shivatir Pahlavanig, 1 Shuban-i-Fradakshana, 1 Thanvare Payahdag, and 1 Pantodapoi Phalangitai. 1 Ioudiaioi Taxeis was trained for the Basileios' Royal Army at Hierosolyma.

Strategos Cunobelinus Arrhenides has added the desert oasis of the Ammonion to our Arche. The Glory of Megas Alexandros truly does shine upon us.

The Makedon Argead force besieging Pergamon assaulted and occupied the city, luckily no council members were present.

Construction: Sinope is having a Mega Phourion installed to keep order while Panaitolios Ankyrikos goes on campaign with the 1st Lydian Army to drive the Argeades off of Mikra Asia. No reports of completed works arrived this season, so local governors will have to inspect their own records.

Domestic Affairs: A diplomat has been called to service in Halikarnassos to call upon the Argeades to cease their senseless aggression. As they have assaulted one of our cities and have sizable forces on Lesbos prepared, we doubt that they want peace.

Taxation: adjustments have been made in Sinope-L, Hekatompylos-N, and Amaseia-H.
