Not that I'm complaining, but... I should have a different score from Chaotix considering what happened in the last round. Him being dead, me being alive, me with the mission to kill him, Khaan being on the same team as me, Khaan being in first place.

I'll take it but I think it deserves an explanation.

Hrmm... I am confused, but also less annoyed at AVSM, now.

It's odd that he somehow avoided the cult, but if he was pursuing a solo victory, I understand why he betrayed me.

And I know that I was right about khaan. ATPG told me he was completely under control... but if he had Psychic abilities I knew he had to be a Nephilim himself.

Well, good game, although the ending was a bit... strange, to say the least.

OK YLC, now can you actually post the plot and the roles? Here's what I got so far:

Day 1: You're Jorg the Engineer, you have a team, yay

N1: One of your teammates gets drugged and his abilities get all wonky yet its not in the writeup

A few nights later: You are converted to Random cult - use random.org for votes/kills. No other details about cult provided - whats our motivation, goals, etc. Ok I can live with that.

Next night: Send in order to block. Instead in writeup I am Blorlax the corpse builder (where did I get all those corpses anyway btw?) Apparently I am converting my former teammate to a mindless doll and know exactly what's going on. What does it have to do with Random cult? Why is Random cult even trying to kill people? What do we need a corpse throne for? I thought we're all about random.org! Bam you're dead. No, wait, undead. No, ok, re-dead now.

Actually, there's one thing you got wrong there.

We weren't really on the same team. My objective was to subjugate/have killed everyone else on this rig. And yes, that includes you, dear Sorrow.
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

    I wonder how I survived...

First off, I'd like to apologize to YLC for being so inattentive in this game that I had to be called out on it in a different one to actually start doing something in it.

Incidentally, I think this lurking actually ended up helping me out in the game. With general night-immunity, I would need to be lynched, and with all the cultists, esoteric power roles, and extensive write-ups, suspicion generally escaped me entirely. I was simply a regular townie to them, with no need to waste a lynch, or two attacks on.

After I was indoctrinated, things got a little hard to follow. I'm still trying to figure it out.

    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

You've spent most of your life trying to avoid and escape the authorities of the ECD. See, your a psychic, and according to the ECD, anyone who is psychic is a danger to those around them and must be quarantined, reeducated, and trained to be their little puppet and work for Big Brother until the day you die.

Yea, not the happiest fate, so you long ago decided to hide as soon as the policy was instated, and have managed to find this horrible place, which even the ECD has forsaken - thanks god. You've actually became one right along with the miners and are one of the good old boys at this point, and with the cash your earning for each shipping season, you think you can retire right along with the rest of these guys...

Just as soon as this annoying runt of a saboteur is found! Ugh, with him in the way, you'll never top off your retirement money to a more pleasing out of the way local, hopefully outside of the ECD's circle of power.

    So snap to!

    Abilities
    1. You may not be converted to any other purpose during the night.
    2. You may select one other person during the night - during the next night, you may use their ability as if it were your own, and they are blocked from using theirs. You lose the pilfered ability during the following day phase and must use this ability again to obtain another ability.
    3. You must survive until the end of the game.[/FONT]

You must roleplay to use your abilities - please roleplay as a male miner who is well known, is one of the good old boys, enjoys mining, is an enthusiastic debater and excellent pool shark and is decent at cards, loves to drink, has a tendency to swear up a storm if the ECD or the Mercenaries are mentioned, and who dislikes hard asses.

Night one, I targeted WhiteEyes. Apparently something blocked him, and was lucky not to be killed. Apparently, YLC very literally meant "pilfering", and WhiteEyes never got his powers back. I thought it was a temporary thing, and so, I decided not to mess with White eyes again when I found out what his ability was.

Incidentally, the same night, Pizzaguy apparently targeted me, as I was apparently part of his victory conditions. When he targeted me(not a kill attempt, something else apparently), I didn't seem to take to well to the whole thing. And thus, Pain and Agony were born.

But as you leave, you feel the overwhelming presence of Sorrow literally strangle your conscious. You blackout, and in the slow, horrible hours that follow, you are turned from a respectable human being to a creature of lovercraftian horror.

What you were, you are no longer, what you will be, you are now, and what you have become, you will always be.

You are now Pain and Agony, and betwixt the two of you, you now serve Sorrow (ATPG) - but, for you both, thats just a poor way of saying you need to fit into your new mindset.

    As Agony -

During the night, your ability changes to allow you to rob someone of their vote. Your vote gains double it's power during the day and they lose their vote altogether.

    As Pain -

You may select one person to personally torture mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. This temporarily robs them of their current alignment, and makes them mafia and subject to your will. However, this does not change their victory conditions and you must communicate with them directly. You may do this to only one person at a time however.

    As Pain and Agony -

Your new to this, but you don't like being commanded by ANYONE, let alone this insufferable little princess of a wench. Time to share some glorious carnage - everyone aboard must die or become subject to your will, including Sorrow.

You have lost all abilities from your previous role as well, but may still use it as a cover role.

My intention was to ride Pizzaguy all the way to a final round, where I would whip out Agony for the first time, rob Pizza of his own vote, and ram the world's largest, sharpest knife into his back. And twist it. In the mean time, Pizza proved a highly valuable ally, as he had infiltrated two different townie groups, who were effectively killed off, though we hit a mighty snag when TheFlax's group blocked me. The night after I'd been converted into Pain and Agony, I picked up on Chaotix' highly scummy behavior he'd been engaging in with Pizzaguy- far too cautious, far too complementing, far too wishy-washy. Turns out I'd been right, and Chaotix had been under my thumb since night two. Unfortunately, as I'd stated, TheFlax's group blocked me, which released Chaotix from under my control. And, of course, I was a duntz and didn't ask the right questions to figure out he was a supreme cultist.

Of course, I must thank my "partner", Askthepizzaguy. It was a fun ride. It was informative watching you snake your way into pro-town groups, and it was fun trying to decipher the game's mechanics with you. I look forward to more engagements in the future. Just know that I will rip your heart out if I need to.

Anyways, it was a fun game, YLC. I'm still a bit confused by some of the mechanics, but I'm more cooled down after my little tirade. I'm sorry for any insensitive remarks I made. You're a very creative and engaging host. And Chaotix, I'm sorry for ripping on you- you did what any good mafioso should do, and probably what I myself would have done in that situation. What I said wasn't called for. A bit of what I said that round was acting- in the same way my complaints to pizzaguy backstabbing me were. But much of it was pent up frustration, and I was wrong for having said it.

I'm glad my group actually did something. Blocking 'khaan was the only success we got for the whole game. For some reason we were never able to get our orders right or something interfered. Even if I was clueless and manipulated throughout the game, it was a fun ride, especially try to hide from ATPG I had been converted. Thank you YLC.

Don't worry about it, khaan- you played an excellent game. Full of deceptions within deceptions, and you profited the most from it, it seems.

    AVSM and Iskander, however...

I'm curious as to what made AVSM decide to betray the cult, and vote against me, instead of going with the *nearly* unbeatable three vote advantage. What was your thought process behind that?

And, as for Iskander: what, did you sleep for 24 hours and miss the vote?
What made you so resistant to working with me?

Ah, I may as well post my role pm, too, before I empty my inbox. It's a real gem...

    EDIT: Here it is:

...were was I? Oh yes, we were having fun showing the people the value of ripe and rotten tv sets! Wait, we must be wrong, I could never make such an obviously correct statement, so it must be we are here to convert them! Yes, lets make a pasta of the dark side of the moon topped with rainbow baconized strips of goodness...

...but I have to watch out for our sister, make sure Sorrow doesn't ruin our fun, cause everyone likes postulating about monkeys throwing typewriters while flying through sponge cake and calculated mountain farts. If we say I mine rocks, it will be so unbelievable they will sparkle radio waves of purple shaped elephants! ...Shoop Da Whooop!

    Abilities
    1. You can select two people during the night to convert into loyal followers of the religion of randompopeness, otherwise know as bananas smoking monkeys for the betterment of facial cream organization, randomly.
    2. You can select one person at night to have their ability do random things instead of what is supposed to happen. if they don't have an ability, they will randomly get one for a random amount of nights that will do a random number of things.
    3. Each night you may request an investigation - you will be randomly told someones guilt or innocence.
    4. Your cultists have a night kill that will be performed upon a random person during the night - your immune to this randomness since it would be super random and perplexing for you to be killed by your own followers - however, your followers can kill each other.

You must roleplay to use your abilities - please roleplay as a male miner who is a bit odd, but otherwise stable, and clearly normal. Please write all PM's for conversions in the most hilarious, frightening, and insane way possible, since they will be posted inthread.

Well, to put it simply, Iskander wasn't going for it, and I had both the possibility of my own victory, as well as immunity from night-kills. So I decided that I could make it through well enough if I broke ties with you. Iskander, I'm not sure what he was thinking. In the end, he just died.

I think the biggest frustration was not receiving night results pms. I had no idea that we blocked khaan sucesfully for example. I was relegated to reading the writeup and seeing / not seeing my name mentioned, and then having me do / not do something that could be interpreted as role blocking, and still have no idea if it suceeded. I think the townies needed way more insight than we got, particularly into our own actions.

I did like the idea of the day writeup. You could force a reveal of the miner's names by drawing them into a discussion.

Khazaar and Tratorix where gay lovers - when one died, the other would as well the following day. Once they were both dead, the next night would be skipped and go directly into the next day. Because of this, and the activity that went with it, you were lynched.

Hey Chaotix, I received PMs from both you and Pizza. Not entirely sure whom to trust, and with my internet abilities severely limited, I decided to go with Pizza. Partly because his argument made sense and my mason group thought he was a good guy, plus to help him I merely needed to abstain. I didn't have the time to try and keep re-voting until the right person came up. Then at the end he asked me to vote anyways, but by the time I received it the game was already over.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
You can sift through the penny jar
