I'm wondering, also thanks to Hiero here , maybe we should allow certain units like Syrakousoi Hoplitai as factional units for certain factions? Meaning Syrakousoi Hoplitai would be counted as a Koinen Hellenon factional unit, for those who wish to represent an Syracusian army.

But Syracuse wasn't part of the Koinon Hellenon of the 3rd century BC IIRC. Wouldn't that make Syrakousai Hoplitai mercs?

I mean it more in the way that Syracuse was an Greek Poleis as were all the members of the Koinen Hellenon. The best way to represent them would be with the Koinen Hellenon.

The same for those who wish to make a Galatian army, with them being Pontus or another faction which has them.

Maybe if someone wishes to be a certain faction which isn't in EB he has to post it here and we can post the factional units and the like and the faction which would be best to be used?
