If the USA supports your move, especially out of thread, it shows planning and an ulterior motive, if you will excuse me.

You asked for what the United Nations thinks, and then you receive approval privately.

You asked for the United Nation's opinion, that is practically everyone playing.

You have barely even received the opinion of 5, much less the approval of 3.

    We aren't mocking you

Edit: Besides, I think ATPG will be more than competent at handling your affairs, no need to worry so much

After all, aren't you giving him your plans or something?

yes SA is the only country with any power that is sub Saharan around this time. I am expecting a tough fight, But I believe the fact that I am savior for most of their common soldiers should cause issues for SA. (and I still think Botswana and Namibia should help out. plus, once SA's government gets cut off they should fall apart.)

and Russia, I always have a open channel of Com with USA open where we share intel. I was not sure if he was paying attention in the thread so I asked him via PM. I asked the UN security council, which has 5 major members I think. Me, USA, China, Russia, and someone else. Frankly most of the UN has absolutely nothing riding on this, I appreciate their opinions, but if I was asking the UN's approval I would be asking hundreds of NPC's as well, (and as I said, I really dont want to have to revise my orders, I dont have the time.) I could leave it for AtPG, but I kind of want to do this one thing for myself.

The Organisation known to various intelligence agencies for signing the temporary MECCA agreement, for plans on forming the "Middle-Eastern Coalition".

The "Middle-Eastern Coalition" was a plan to bring unity to a troubled region, a hot spot of various forces conducting a shadow war within the nation, causing the death and destruction of the Islamic people. In the early phases of the organisation, riots within Iraq were put down by oppressive government actions and suspected use of chemical weapons. Instead of waiting for this issue to be put forward to NATO, Iran, with interests of the Iraqi people mobilised it's troops and unfortunately, had its hand pushed into war by Saddam Hussein.

During this situation, Turkey expressed interest of invasion Syria to the other signees of the MECCA treaty, both Iran and Pakistan expressed disapproval of these actions with Iran promoting diplomacy with the nation and other nations within the region, applying for their membership and support. Turkey, against the wishes of the other nations, went into full-scale war with Syria, of which we didn't approve (Iraq situation was approved). Our other agendas, was seeking a free independent Afghanistan, which Pakistan volunteered to lead and the also a peaceful resolution to Kashmir which we were to support Pakistan with.

Turkey went ahead with the operation against Syria, with no support or backing by those signing the MECCA agreement. This ended up causing an all-out war within and between the Middle East, something the MEC was strongly against, as such, actions had to be made to suspend Turkey. With the situation brewing, and the large discredit brought upon those who have signed the MECCA treaty, bringing down shameful doubts and slurs about the actions of both Iran and Pakistan.

As such, Iran and Pakistan are formerly "tearing the treaty", abandoning the proposed MEC in attempts to restore the deserved credibility individually to the nations involved. MEC will now be dissolved into nothing, a relic of the past.

Iran will continue to peruse peaceful co-operation with its neighbours.

I am actually not sure if the fifth nation on the UN security council is France. But if it is I dont know what we should do, he has not been online for a few days.....

Technically I have 3/5's of the security councils approval for my invasion. I do not want to go forward on this invasion without everyone on the UN security council's approval. However I am not sure I understand the reason you disapprove?

I dis-approve simply of wanton violence.

Wanton violence is not met with wanton violence.

Of course, Russia would also like to use South African ports for trade. Trade makes the world go round and SA is in a very convenient position for our port companies to invest in.

Although this may be of dubious quality if said trade is not represented to us by updates, eh Greyblades?

but we all learned a important lesson from this. Attacking NPC's for no reason=Bad idea
Edit: Your reason is totally unrelated.

The southern African nation only recently emerged from Civil War, and the new government has yet to respond to the violence.
If at all, this suggests that it was done by rebels.

And it was Zimbabwe who was attacked, not the British or even their interests, its just sounding like a pretext for war.

You realize the irony in that dont you?

Well, I am a big fan of wanton violence when it is also saving an entire group of people is in there as well. You can still have you trade in South africa if you want. It will simply be in a state loosely administrated by the queen. I am preforming a humanitarian act along with getting vengeance for the crown, frankly to me this seems a win win situation for everyone.

    edit:
(hey I at least have a reason! I did not get all gun ho about it and just make random DOW)
AtPG must have messed up the writeup, cause I was the one who got a feedback PM saying I was attacked in South Rhodesia. There is no country called Southern Zimbabwe.... there never has been......

Currently I'm just a bit confused that you talk of revenge but South Africa has not aggravated you.

Its as if (from my viewpoint) that you are just flexing your muscles to show that Britain is not weak, similar to the Falkland Islands situation. Pardon me if this is wrong, but this is really what I am inferring.

@Greyblades, oh you did? Okay, that solves quite a few issues.

    Campaign of terror in Zimbabwe

30 armed men wearing South African military uniforms marched through the streets of several villages, burning down buildings and forcing people out of their homes. The men wielded AK-47s and fired into the crowds; it is still unknown how many civilians are dead, but southern Zimbabwe is in chaos, especially in the province of Masvingo, but also near Gwanda. The southern African nation only recently emerged from Civil War, and the new government has yet to respond to the violence.
Probably just the Southern Part of Zimbabwe, which just so happens to be the north of SA.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zimbabwe

Its HIGHLY probable that Greyblades just upped the militancy/rebel/terrorist scale, to make the game more interesting.

It wouldn't do to just have NPC nations sit there ripe for picking.

Iran would like Britain to provide all information related to South Africa. Also, Iran would like to request Britain to watch itself through his past imperialism, especially in that region and hopes that Britain stays true to it's word.

but what are you asking exactly I may still be able to help. ( why couldn't you have asked yesterday? I wasn't battening down the hatches for my trip then..........)

Britain will remain true to what it has said. South africa will become a colony of britain much like Canada and Australia. We will continue to send money down to the south Africans to get them back on their feet, and our invasion plan will be swift and decisive. Hopefully not being bogged down at Messina.

They will create their own constitution and government, and elect their own president.

In reality? I dunno. But in game their tech is Comparable to 1960's USA and their army is good at defending cities after being on a permenant supression duty for the last decade or so.
