Whiteyes if The other nations manage to push you back to your own borders and keep attacking I will send some help for you. But only to help you keep your current borders. Frankly I think that your little escapade in Syria was a huge mistake, and you are paying for it. I will help out if you ask for it, but I will not help you keep your gains off Syria.

Yeah, because of you, you got me into a right diplomatic mess, even after we said "Don't invade Syria". However, on the other note, I really didn't expect Greyblades to be so harsh with the NPCs. I thought they would be easy mode, with different ways of getting them to join your side, and the battles, etc happen between players, rather than with NPC.

On that note, I would like to see far more NPC actions then, to make things easier/fairer to the human players.

Turkye you say that now, but when your armies are dead and the Egyptians are knocking on your doors I am sure things will look different

OOC: personally I think that the NPC action has been great! This is the Cold war. Nations that try and conquer other nations should have a hard time doing it. Every nation is scared for WW3, and any nation with any Territorial ambition is viewed with suspicion.

When Britain said the following, many thoughts went around in Japans head.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The world should know that Germany and Japan weren't the only baddy baddys... If invasion is bad, look what peoples are doing

Now look what Japans been doing.

And this is the right moment to say "we were wrong Japan. Your a great bloke. Your personality, peacelovingness, and sense of humour is abnormal."

Now go back and get infected by our animes, mangas and games. Play those pokemons, roll around in a room full of dragonball comics. Droll at those gundams like you were born to droll.

However, from his face without an expression, no one was able to tell what he was thinking. Few noticed the slight twitch on the left cheek of the Japanese diplomat. When those few stared at Japans face, he stood up and said.

"Please excuse me. May I ask where the water closet is?"

Japanese diplomat spent the next 5 minuets in the toilet.. Smiling as he dipped him self in wild fantasy.

OOC: Yes Japan, you have been a good little boy. Keep up the Anime and I am sure that the USA will be totally fixated on your products by the 90's.

(I was kind of surprised when I heard you were rebuilding other Eastern nations. Very nice of you! I plan on doing the same in africa.)

Turkey, I mean you haven't lost...... You have had a minor set back which you are completely capable of coming back from if you were smart....... This is not just some kind of regular War game, it is first and foremost one of Espionage and Logistics, with war playing a close second. You made a mistake in the early game, but I am sure you have learned from your mistake. Hell, The game is More fun if you are not winning all the time, cause it makes you actually think and consider your next moves. If you really wanted to win this war and keep syria then you could rally some support from some of the Less scrupulous nations, although you might have to pay them for there services. Personally I think just quitting when the going gets even a bit tough is a bit weak......... Not to sound like a jerk or anything.

Czechoslovakia is happy to announce that Hungary has decided to join in union with it, and papers are already in place for Poland to join the Union.

Now, the Warsaw pact may pool it's resources more efficiently.

    Turkey, please don't leave.

In all honesty, a little set back is nothing to be annoyed about. Granted, Russia as a superpower won't receive many set backs, but set backs that do happen are huge and have a great effect, and frankly are very annoying, because much effort went into them.

Just stick around, this game was really suited to have many players and really, less players doesn't really do it any justice.

@ATPG, that is because of the similarity to the Noble Sons II game?

    Edit:

Awesome! Sometimes, NPC playability so to speak is good, but you need to hit the situation correctly..

It's pointless....The host wants me to play another Nation....(That should spell how bad I was defeated....should I tell you my numbers vs. theirs? I don't have a prayer....)

I hate hiding my true nature....(ask Beefy...It made his Noble Sons game fun but in the end I was going to lose no matter what......) I hate coming up with reasons to attack someone.... might as well say "It's in the interest of World Peace" maybe then It would be "Justified" Somehow.... (I believe no war is justified, no matter what reasons are given)

Czechoslovakia would be happy to see Turkey go! Then Czechoslovakia can instate puppet government in Turkey, and rename it to Chicken, and we will call the people Chicks, and Czechoslovakia knows that westerns find chicks "hot", so thus Czechoslovakia gain new revenue to improve Eastern Bloc revenue from tourism!

Everybody win! But Czechoslovakai win more!

Set backs in war are natural, it would be folly for any of us to be declaring war so early. If at all, I think most, if not all of us, are making preparations, gearing up, secret backroom deals.

This was historically the cold war, nothing happened but a lot of threats and political bickering, nothing is going to change, at least for a while.

You should've picked a war mongering country

    Eg NewZealand

Well...I am Sorry DIY but I don't excel at Politics in the 1980's and I lost....unless 5 vs. 27 is "good odds"?? I guess I should break it down...

1st turn<----Attacked Syria and beat them badly
They only had two of there army's left...

2nd turn<----Egypt and the Saudis arrive....I get beaten badly...
They had about 42 armies in total.... two from Syria....and I lost mostly because I "decided" to split my army up....but I didn't think they were going to get there that fast(What happened to all that sand?? and what about other nations? would they have given them Military access??)....I lost that half and Barely fought their advance off

if those countries are still NPC's, you might have asked for NATO assistance. There aren't many countries who can single handedly conquer a bunch of stuff unless they get really lucky. We Brits are interested in the Israel situation, but we don't have close relations with too many NPC's.

    5 vs 27? It's only 2 and a bit vs 1.
Being better than the worst does not inherently make you good. But being better than the rest lets you brag.

I was in the opinion that at the very most, 3-1 for offense vs defense ratio was still a pretty good odds for the defender.

"Ofcause I do Beefy.. I used to be in the Jieitai."

Fukuda realized that his been in the toilet more then 10 minutes and rushed out.

Slight problem, there are no MEC forces as the MEC doesn't exist. What you are fighting are members of the Arab League, aka Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia.
