Um, no, a list of driving music could be very, very complete without that song. Once I'm Emperor of the World, I will immediately issue some music-related decrees: No film or TV show may use "All Along the Watchtower" for the next fifty years, anyone who plays "Born to Be Wild" while driving will be sent to a labor camp, and people who shout "Play 'Free Bird'!" at concerts will be executed without a trial.

Well I will be safe in your new world since I've never heard of "All Along The Watchtower" or "Free Bird" and I lost my copy of "Born To Be Wild" about a year ago. What's wrong with born to be wild though?
My goal in life is get a 65 mustang and drive around playing "Mustang Sally" Which incidentally is another good driving song.

Another good driving song is Runnin Wild by Airbourne.

A chillout/driving song conversation without Ride On?

My taste towards music for unwinding is on the fast, loud, and heavy side, for me hectic is better than dulling the senses.
