NIGHT 2

Johnhughthom was sitting around in his room, thoroughly bored. A knock came on the door… He walked over and slowly opened the door. He was greeted by a hulking figure, with Swords in hand.

“Uhhhh ohhhh” John Said, and ran away from his door. The figure burst in, his swords glinting in the candlelight.
“sup.” He said, his sword resting on Johns shoulder.
“ohhh you know just getting ambushed by crazed maniacs with SWORDS!” John said with annoyance.
“hey man, no reason to get all annoyed. Just doing my job and all. Now, on a serious note, are you evil?”
John looked Incredulous “Did you seriously come into my home, get a surprise round on me, and then just ask me if I am evil or not?”
The man cocked his heads to the side laughing slightly “hey man, you won initiative, I am just making conversation, and hopefully wasting your actions so I can own you.”
John sighed “dude, all talking is only a free action, I could recite the entire play of Hamlet and it would still be my turn….. Now, I don’t really feel like dieing, which I am sure you understand. Sooooooo….” John pointed a figure upwards and a flash of light appeared in The mans eyes, blinding him and causing him to yell in pain! “See ya!!!!!” John ran out of his house, trying to escape as quickly as possible.
The man Growled in anger “I was trying to be a nice guy. Trying to be team player, but you know what!”
“Man, you keep trying to kill me, how is that nice?”
“I SAID TRYING TO BE A NICE GUY!!!!!!” (I will give a balloon to whoever tells me where this is from)
The man Ran at john with his sword. “POWER ATTACK!” His slash cut completely through John, and took him from 15 HP to -9 in a single blow. The man left as mysteriously as he came, leaving John in his wake.

Hmm jht if he was a commoner would have been level 4 or 5 at least with 25hp. Since that is unlikely I would guess he had some sort of role (his magic would suggest so). Writeup doesn't mention his stature so we cannot be sure if he was one of QJC's apprentices or not. His vote pattern may or may not suggest so.

His attacker...well we don't know what he would have done if jht had actually answered his question. While the question may sound a bit paladinish, its unlikely to be the case as paladins have detect evil which would automatically flag things up. I would guess that its a fighter type vigilante though. Doing some 36 dmg using dual wield and that on the first hit only suggests either high level fighter with high dex and str or mid level ranger.

How a commoner like me knows this? Metagaming o course
Btw, how come there was no mention of my beer in the writeup!
