I don't think you're guilty now. Given an unbiased reading it does seem like you're just trying to have fun in this game, similar to how pizza looks innocent because he genuinely wants to relax. If sigurd turns up guilty I'll have to reconsider, but that's a question of risk vs reward not of how suspicious you look. CR didn't make a strong case but you found it frustrating, that's where the suspicion came from.

Of course Sigurd will turn out guilty. CR told that there were detective results telling as much, after I said his initial case was rubbish (which it was).

Also, being a piraty pirate does not mean running your own ship into the ground. It means sailing your loot home, that you may get to enjoy some booty on a rum and wench infested tropical paradise.

Iskander is the latest victim of a private buccaneering group. This group is on a killing spree, possibly because they are in it for booty and some pirating fun.

So here's my offer:

I promise ten gold for every name of this group. That's a whopping thirty for all three of your partners's names. Plus I promise full secrecy and immunity to the person who PM's me with these names. (Yes, pirate's code of honour, to which I am bound)

I haven't the foggiest idea what Jolt is up to. Admitting you'd rather become maven or British to the investigated about-to-be quartermaster is the same as requesting to be lynched. In the absence of better suspects, we might as well get rid of an uncooperative and admittedly traitorous player.

I'm working through my mind what Jolt could be. It's possible he's a joker/bomb role but I believe we've all agreed on how lame those roles are, and I think GeneralHankerchief spent a lot of time on this game, too much to risk everyone dying within a round or two. And if he's not a suicide role, then he's either disinterested in the game or he has a death wish.

Given that I still don't think any of the other ideas in this thread are particularly worth following (At least not without some more work on my part), then I believe we should at least get rid of a bad townie who has expressed interest in going over to the other side.

I honestly don't care about the other candidates right now because I have no time to read everything and they all look like terrible candidates. Unless ATPG has some hard proof that Jolt really sent him PMs (i.e., post the PMs in-thread), I'm not buying it.

We can force ATPG and Andres to leave the boat tonight. Then they won't be recruited, and they will still be townie, irrevocably. Win-win situation. If they don't leave within two phases, then we assume they are converted and lynch them. Easy as pie.

Clearly something's fishy with him to make such blatant lies when I haven't even spoken to him about becoming British, Maven or otherwise. This trumped up accusation came completely out of blue for no apparent reason.

And isn't a little bit strange that everyone seems to be blindly following ATPG when his misconstrued theory that I, who am neither Maven nor British, and even if I spoke about wishing to become either Mafia group, I would still have to deal with the secret "tendency" value, I would be the greatest threat to all? Isn't it VERY OBVIOUS ATPG is playing us all for some obscure purpose?
