I am a little concerned, that Denmark take some of Novgorod without warning or asking me.....both Sweden and Poland gave me a heads-up first....I will overlook it because It's somewhat contested..

Austria, may the best country win

It's not M2TW where you can conquer the world with just peasants, militia and the like(like ATPG have done).
Here you have only 6 orders per turn no matter how big you are. So, even one wrong order could doom you.

Does that mean even the Netherlands can actually be useful then?

Can I bang my head against the wall?

Well, I use spreadsheets to store all information about this game. It's very good system and have made my life a lot easier hosting this game.
However, I haven't used spreadsheets for one thing they are meant to be - calculating income.
Don't know what I was thinking before!!
So, I'll just need little time to insert all financial data into spreadsheet file and in future Report PM's should be sent when write-up is posted.. and not couple of days later.

Since I go to work soon I am not able to send out pm's today but I will send them out tomorrow!

I apologize for all the inconveniences this might cause.

No need to apologise to us, you should be apologising to yourself for making such a huge task so much harder

Question: In a peace treaty, can we swap land that we haven't occupied?

    No.

You need to have the land, to swap it. You could add conditional things like "Once I got the land, we can swap it" or "I will allow you to take that land" sort of thing.

depends what you mean. when you say unoccupied territory do you mean land you have not occupied but your enemy has? Or do you mean land no one has yet.

Since France isn't near any unoccupied territory, I assume he means his enemy has it. Which I'm sure you can do if the other party agrees that is.

Right ok, he means this -

He wants land some one else owns, and he wants to swap land for that land?

If that is the case, then yes.

If you are talking about the white hex's then no.

Presumably, limit them to their original hexes. Why would anyone want that barren mountain?

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

The land was close to mine, and I did not know that you had claimed all of it for yourself.
I did not feel the need to consult you on it.

As I've said before, I'm completely content to sell you the land at a nice low price. Better than me having to spend time and money trying to convert them; they may as well be ruled by an Orthodox king.

No harm done this time.....but please refrain from doing such things in the future

Again, as had been made clear- you never told me of your treaties or arguments with Sweden, and you only mentioned border conflicts in-thread: which were much further south than the land I occupied. I'm not going to pretend I made a transgression just to appease you; if you wanted all of the Novgorod region you should have explicitly told me, and then I could have used the turn that I wasted taking those lands on something more important.

Make me an offer in private, and I'll sell the land to you. That's what allies are for.

    A little later.....

I have quite a bit of land to take still....no sense in taking something I can't defend right away..
