Likewise, New Orleans kicker John Carney seems to have "run out of leg", at age 45. I remember when he was with the SD Chargers in the 90's - there were many games where he was the only player who could score; QB Stan Humpries would get the team down to the 25, and hit a "wall", then they'd bring on Carney for the sure 3-pointer.

Last night v Atlanta, he missed a couple of gimmies. He's had 20 pretty good NFL years. I hadn't realized it had been that long. Time to collect that pension and maybe do color commentary for CBS.

I think that was the first game this year that I have been truly impressed by Dallas. Pressure situation, in a hostile crowd, against a tough D, I seen them collapse like a house of cards too many times. They managed to keep the stupid penalties to a minimum (so around 5 then ), and fought back for a hard win against a division opponent.

Yeah really, first time in ten years they beat the Steelers twice in one season.

Excellent game, probably the best of the year so far. Great job by the Colts but I wonder how badly Belichick's going to get skewered tomorrow.

I agree with going for it on 4th and 2 personally. 30-40 yards extra isn't much to the colts offense.
