bah, Over the course of this game I have given out about 20,000 (or so.... Not sure exactly) in gifts and loans. Name your country I have probably given them money. And you know what, I have not asked for a single cent back!

10 grand, nice. I only gave him 3 grand. but this is irrelevant

Should I open diplomatic channels via PM to talk about what we all need from this war? Atpg has made his needs clear. but might as well talk about it. I will send the PM out. (BTW I plan on talking IC, I have not been able to act like James enough. More fun this way )

Indeed. As you guys can see, I'm up to my eyeballs in debt. France dug a big hole, and unfortunately filling it will be expensive. Not much I can do about that, my life was kinda on the line a couple rounds ago, and now I have a big fat army to feed and loans to repay.

Your assistance will be most appreciated if the French can be persuaded to leave us in peace and at a loss of territory, which I am sure will happen just as soon as pigs write poetry.

Seriously, it will take a lot of passing the pot around to pay for the mess France made. But I'm reasonable enough to say peace is possible.

Hey ATPG, I didnt mean I wanted it back from you, no, I intend to collect my payment straight from France's coffers or in her land if she is bankrupt by the time this is over.

Oh, Right, technically we're still at war. Um seeing as France is going under would you be willing to just call it a truce?

Hey, I said it was fine for it to expand of th mountains, but to take Framche-Comte and Italy? Too far man, too far.

I also will not declare peace without the southeast third of France under Swiss protection. That's the price of conflict... a buffer zone. And not a neutral one either.
Essentially, it's just a matter of time before Switzerland's banks collapse and the war is won; by me.

Surrendering Savoy is stotally unacceptable. I inherited that land fair and square. However, Spain does have a claim to Framche Comte, so I may be willing to part with some of that, as well as relinquish my claim to the Kingdom of Italy..

Greyblades is only saying this because I sent him a PM warning him that iof he attacked Vienna, he'd have to face an Austro-Franco Alliance.

EDIT: Btw Sweden, I'm totally cool with you making peace with France, and even Switzerland. However, I request that you come to my aid against England, and that you at least harass their shipping to prevent them from crossing the channel. I can pledge all of the North Sea Islands to you, should we fight together.

Not really. Your fortress should be busted down this turn, and then you will experience the full power of the dark side.

I hope Sweden does realize that if he chooses to do so I will feel obliged to call to the northern alliance for aid. Plus it is a bit late to stop me from crossing, I already have. If Sweden joins the war I will just have to bring a WHOLE world of hurt down on them. That I promise you

If you honestly think you can win this war then I am not sure what war you are watching
and come on he was going to GIVE you Framche-Comte and you just declared war and invaded for no good reason.

*sigh* I was going to try and find some way to keep you alive after this war, but that seems foolish to me now.

It was a private PM to the Turk. I didn't want to make my intentions known to the rest of Europe, for various reasons.

EDIT: Franco-Austrian Alliance was the wrong word. French intervention, to help the Austrians would have been a better word.
