    Default Why so Imperial?

While preparing my upcoming Return of the Sith game, I came over this:

You make a picture sequence and then people put captions to it. I'll start us off.

    The picture is:

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    first entry and example:

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Rules:

    No profanity or swearing.

    ****
This is probably not Gameroom material and I might move it over to the frontroom eventually,
but let's start this here as a reminder of a
Star Wars mafia game coming up soon.

Er, question: How do I put captions in it? Is that something I can do in MS paint, or do I need something more advanced?

I second that question, but I actually don't even have MS Paint.

    You can do it paint...
Just make sure you use the transparent background option on text as it is white as default.

I'm waiting till it completly falls apart first, the border thing at the top is already coming off. But there is one thing I like about my Mac, and that is the mousepad doesn't suck.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

Try downloading GIMP 2. It's pretty advanced and hard to figure out at first, but it's also better than paint.
I did use paint for mine though, easier when the task is this simple.

Surely you still have a Windows disk somewhere. Simply install Windows via Bootcamp or use a VM. I can't recall the name of it, but there is a free VM available that could easily handle Paint. Or simply find Mac software that works.

Why in the world you'd want to switch back to Windows is beyond me, but not a topic appropriate for this thread.

I don't think GIMP works on Macs...

As much time as I spend on a computer, I ought to know what this means...

Well I have a Mac laptop that I use for all my forum crap, because it's less vulnerable to viruses. And I have a Windows desktop because I like to play more than flash games.

You may find this hard to believe, but somewhere out there a Unix-compatible paint program might exist.

Lemur posted an excellent suggestion, but if you want a very simple replacement for MS Paint, try Paintbrush.
