No WOGs at the moment then, I see. I forgot to vote last round, so don't want to be subject to the culling myself.

    vote: Captain Blackadder.

Time to speak up, good sir! :>

Tie vote between Sigurd and Ibn-Khaldun.

In case you're unfamiliar with how I resolve tie votes, I do a runoff between the players with the most votes. Therefore, all previous votes are wiped and you are only allowed to vote for either Sigurd or Ibn. You have 24 hours, and your participation (or lack thereof) will be factored into whether or not I put you on the chopping block for WoGs. Good luck!

    Day 4 tally:
Sigurd: 4 (Beskar, ATPG, Subotan, Methos)
Ibn-Khaldun: 4 (Psychonaut, woad, Sasaki, TinCow)
Sasaki Kojiro: 3 (Thermal, Joooray, pever)
    Captain Blackadder: 2 (Renata, Secura)
    Beskar: 1 (Sigurd)
    TinCow: 1 (Kage)
    Askthepizzaguy: 1 (Ibn)
    Reenk Roink: 1 (White_eyes)
    White_eyes:D: 1 (Reenk)

    Abstained: 2 (Beefy, shlin)
Didn't vote: 3 (Blackadder, Drizzt, Split)

Well, there is a poster who never commented other than to place a random vote for the last 4 rounds with a sum total of 4 posts, one of them was the signing up post.

When some one voted against them, they actually became active and got all defensive with an OMGUS post, and later admits they are a useless townie, because they are most likely the mafia.

Who is this undeniable scummy character?

    Vote: Sigurd

    Yes, I noticed that.

All I can say is that I'm townie but you will find that out after the night phase anyway..

What does this mean? Are you saying that you're going to be night-killed?

It seems a little melodramatic to me, and heavily suspicious.

I think out of the 2, Ibn was a better candidate, but still.

I'm also annoyed by Tincow's mindless votes, I'm thinking a few pressure votes could actually get some sense out of him. By not initiating votes its as if hes not willing to take the brunt for them, trying not to be controversial and keep it low.

He is not the only person to follow this trend of behaviour, though; Joooray comes to mind as someone who does the exact same, both in Mafia IX and Shadow Fort, actually.

Best choices are WE and Atpg right now but Ibn seems likely to vote for Atpg so vote: Sigurd Sorry man, but I gotta make sure I don't get WoG'd this game...

It doesn't have any epistemic merit. If it's the deciding factor in "I have to pick now" then you probably should go the other way.

In fact, I prefer more complex explanations and think they are more likely to be true, but Reenk's Razor was an utter failure near the level of the Dummy Razor, the reason being it was much too arbitrary and could be used by anybody, not just myself. Reenk's Razor v2 is: "multiply entities according to Reenk" - much better

"Reenk's Razor" was totally a pile of ....I still think your mafia

If I am right....it means I can anyways tell when your mafia(I guessed right too many times already and I am sick of it)

Why can't you be more like Sasaki? Only two rounds and I totally forgot about him

Just because you say that doesn't make it true. In just about every game you've said that (which is about every game we've played together ), you had a passing thought I was Mafia which you later revoked in over half of them. There isn't any "connection" between us WE, only between pever and I. Sorry.

Also you are likely Mafia in this game, you seem exceedingly nervous.

And I refer to you as a "Mentor or Teacher" not that we have some sort of "Psychic connection"....you should be proud....no one else well ever have that Title and I learned a lot from others.

I'm leaning Sigurd, but given there's 24 hours extra I may as well actually look at Ibn's posts tomorrow to see if I want to change my mind. I already know there's nothign worth looking at in Sigurd's.

This is the problem with that strategy. How many people immediately suspected me? How much attention did it focus on me? All that time wasted talking about me, and not as much attention on others. That's not what I wish to accomplish. And, because it's something "I would do", people will eventually get antsy and lynch me for it anyway, even if it didn't happen this round. It's completely effective at taking me out. And, since it is a lynch, my analysis post-death becomes tainted with the "he could be mafia" disease. No, it is a bad move. I'm aware this is a WIFOM defense to WIFOM, but I tend to not make bad moves. I take risky moves, but this isn't risky, it's just bad.

The riskiest move I ever made was voting for myself as mafia, and for a while it worked. People voted for me. That is a bad move. I had to unvote myself to make any headway, and that was back when I was voting for myself constantly to get people off of my case. That part of it worked, people stopped first-round voting me for a while. But it didn't really help me that round, I nearly died. I'm not going to put pizza references in, because it will get me killed faster than if I didn't do it, and then it will discredit me so I can't help my partner. That's the main reason why I wouldn't do it, it is a team game. I took a lot of flak any time I voted for myself or my partner too. Not everyone is as risky/gambit-prone as me.

You'll find when I am making safe moves, I'm mafia. I take far fewer risks. I've also noticed I tend to get professorial about how townies should behave. I'm too self-conscious about acting townie. See: Swords and D20's 3 for a recent example.

I was just thinking about the time you were a first round kill in "Cave man mafia". You immediately accused me after death...saying I quote "I was just thinking, White_eyes would think it's funny to first round kill me" and I said "Your totally right" even though I was town and was almost lynched for that. I don't know what kind of connection you have with 'pever' but it's totally different from how we are.
