Modded Or Unmodded?

I am quite childish when it comes to games, I guess.

I just don't like how I start the game with Aedui and begin with -3000 per turn when my army only consists of about 3 warband.

I'm trying (and liking) COW (call of warhammer for medieval 2) and BoA (battles of asia with japanese map for rome) at the moment.

I reckon broken crescent is the best mod I've ever played.

I generally play vanilla, and after I play a lot I'll go with little tweaks. Full conversions can be fun, but only if I'm really interested in the newer universe. My biggest problem is that I barely have the time to play the vanilla version of a game, I can't really afford to run trials of lots of mods.

I voted "Gah". I preferred Shogun unmodded or MTW with the Samurai Wars mod. Haven't played the newer TW games, except Rome and Medieval2 once or twice and they were pure crap.

Did you try ancient total war for medieval 1? Thats a good mod.

I liked some of the eastern factions but that was it, the nubian one was different....

The upkeep costs as a whole are just mad, I find it runs pretty slow for me which is never good, my computer has seen better days.

my first TW game was rome. i played that for a year or so before i found the glory that is
EUROPA BARBARORUM

and now i play no game unmodded. except of the FPS genre.
last summer i got ETW, which i played with Darthmod (it was a must, the AI was so bad in vanilla) until last month.

very recently, i started up EUROPA BARBARORUM again.
and i dont regret one minute of it. in fact i even made an AAR about my campaign as the Casse- see link in my sig, [/shameless advertising].

Though I notice you put humorous, many 'comedy' AAR's aren't funny at all, but if you pull it off just right, they can be the most entertaining.
