Okay true, but nobody said that openly, for it felt like people didn't believe W_E even after he role-claimed.
Which reminds me, now that we know what Beskar claims to be, Vote: White_Eyes:D! So what are you then?

I'll first kill known lurkers who has contributed in previous games. Unless I knew of a pro-town, and thus kill them for obvious reasons. Beefy comes under neither or those. I believe anyone who has been my mafia partner before in a game knows that. For example, like Netherworld.

Interesting, since the whole post was infact a correctly done pressure vote. It wasn't a final vote. You are grasping straws.

What I find interesting this round is how some people were eager to lynch me for "scummy" reasons, when I am not infact again scum.

Some one let the cat out of the bag, but attempting to lynch me is a bad idea. It is hard to return the genie into the lamp once you released it. I am indeed a Jedi Master. Thank you for telling this to the mafia. Since if you attempt to lynch me, you will discover this is the case anyway.

Unvote; vote: TinCow, since you so badly wanted to lead this expedition to fail.

So let me get this straight... what you're saying is that if someone told you that they were completely immune to all forms of elimination in this game, you wouldn't find that suspicious? You wouldn't call them out on it or attempt to prove their claims?

Alright, screw this. I might as well take-up the mantle as Townie Information Network leader.

I am a Jedi Master, I cannot be lynched. You will obviously see this in a few hours. Thanks for revealing this information though, great way to attract wanted attention to me.

As you will see this is obviously the case, I request all roles to fully reveal to me after this lynch phase, then I suggest we lynch anyone who does not comply. I also obviously like protection on me as well.

I believe Beskar. I doubt a mafioso would claim lynch immunity in private and then publicly on day one; it's too risky because mafioso are never lynch immune for balance reasons. There is plenty of time to test Beskar's role in other ways later on. We've gotten the role-reveal we asked for, time to move on to other suspects.

This may be a strategic disagreement, but I would not have handled this situation the way you did. It smacks of scum to me.

For the record, I heavily disagree with this bit. Keep your secrets to yourselves, or post them publicly. Networks are the servants of the Dark Side.

I'd have had a night kill to test his claims instead, if that was the case.

Well, it will make the game far easier for the town. If you know how I handle a pro-town network, one look at D20 will show the success I can produce. Since I am about to get revealed as being correct in what I say, there is no reason to doubt me.

Trying to lynch Beskar was probably sensible to begin with as at least once he was dead we would know if he was sincere, Beskar can stoop low sometimes.

But given the reveal I'll vote for someone entirely different, the worst that can happen is no lynch if people don't unvote him, that is if hes unlynchable.

    Vote: Belisarius II

Just because I don't trust him, new players wouldn't be aware Husar is a returning player, experienced ones would. As a new mafia player to this forum I'm happy to initiate a welcome vote for him.

any talk of role reveal or townie network should wait till the phase is over and Beskar's role can be ascertained.

You'd be surprised how far scum would go to gain control of the town's information. I vaguely recall a serial killer actively dying for the town to help prove his alignment. That one didn't end well for the town. Don't push it, my willingness to defend you goes only so far. In any case, Sigurd is fond of cover role PMs specifically to prevent your proposed strategy from working.

Beskar's the whole reason the town won Swords and D20s 3; he uncovered and named every single person and their respective roles to the host within a day of joining the game. And he joined one day after everyone else as it is. His boasting in-thread was a little irksome, but it was warranted I think.

This was precisely the reason I wanted Beskar's claims proven; if he was lying, we bagged a Sith, and if he was telling the truth, we have someone to rally around.

I read it as a win-win, but your mileage may well vary.

Beskar, if you want to be proven innocent, how come you don't vote for yourself? If you did, it would go a long way to hush the voices in my head whispering that this is all an attempt to get everyone to move their votes to elsewhere.

Well, I want everyone who comments on this from now until the end of the day to make it clear: if Beskar is lynched and confirmed, he *will* be an information nexus to some extent. People will tell him things. Including some of the non-town, presumably. And there will be townies who refuse to. And most of them will wind up dead for the refusal, sooner or later. That's just the way it tends to work.

But anyone who keeps Beskar from being lynched for the rest of the day is implicitly voting against all of this.

I have mixed feelings. But I do think he's very likely to be pro-town, and I vastly prefer the outcome if he is "lynched" to the outcome if he isn't, which is likely to be non-stop "should we lynch Beskar or shouldn't we" until the cows come home.

    So unvote, vote: Beskar.

I'd just like to state right here, before this is resolved, that I will *not* be providing any sort of information to Beskar even if he is lynched and ends up surviving. This will be out of protest for the system that I know is bound to materialize.
