Vigilantes can also kill with the force, though apparently different ones may be able to or have to kill by different means. But as far as that goes, we don't know whether the force-killer we currently observe is limited to the means he has so far exhibited, and we don't know for sure what color his light saber is.

(Actually scratch that last bit. If the yellow eyes weren't enough, then the kills have still been consistent both nights, and on night zero I don't think any townies had abilities yet, so the guy almost has to be Sith. But the rest stands.)

Not really an WIFOM. I would be instantly investigated or voted against. There is really no point in me doing it, people only go in a situation where they can be converted when a situation is favourable for that to occur.

... which I accept that there currently isn't - with a strong emphasis on "currently". Again, I believe you so far. I just don't think it sensible to extrapolate from believing you into trusting you.

I had to Wookieepedia my own character because I had no idea who I was, and it appears that the only things consistent between my Role PM and the canon is my name and awful haircut.

This is a theme game, so my base assumption is that the theme has meaning. According to Beskar, the following roles are claimed as power roles: Count Dooku, Anakin Skywalker, and Mace Windu, with the name of the leader undisclosed, but likely Yoda. That list indicates that Sigurd is specifically using major characters from the movies as the main roles, which indicates that they are not randomly chosen. Roles that are not from the movies, such as Hoth and X2, may well be random without much correllation to their canon history, but that does not appear to be the case with the power roles. If it is true with the power roles, it is probably true for the mafia.

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

Not at all, the majority of people in networks are probably innocent, not guilty, the main concern with them being only one evil force needs to infiltrate it to ruin the whole game.

Well perhaps not ATPG, but he isn't acting strangely, given how eager he was to argue and speak his mind, he clearly doesn't have enough regard for his life as say a mafia would. I agree ACIN would have been a poor choice, but still a better one than Beskar and ATPG at this moment in time.

    You assume too much.

Anakin Skywalker, in his fall from grace, murdered thousands of Jedi with a blue lightsaber. Sith often, but not always, use red.

That said I will be extremely prejudiced against anyone with a red lightsaber.

I won't discount that possibility, but although this is based on Star Wars, to be fair the original mafia could/should be anyone among us. Kind of like in my Simpsons-themed games where Ned Flanders wasn't actually Ned Flanders, but Kang and Kodos in a clever disguise. The only way to fairly hide mafia is to place them as truly randomly as possible. Here, Master Windu could be Darth Maul in disguise, with some lame excuse for why one looks like the other, such as plastic surgery, or force manipulation of some kind.

Until I see a pattern where obvious Sith is obvious, I'm going to assume it is probably random.

So you're saying that we shouldn't be concerned if someone is revealed to be, say, Palpatine?

In the KOTOR game I played on the computer, I could be a light-sided Jedi with a red saber. Since that's official Star Wars merchandise, that means it is also canonical information. Light-sided Jedi can possibly use a red saber.

But like I said, I'm quite doubtful. Anyone with a red lightsaber should probably confess right now. There's no reason for a light-sider to conceal this fact from us.

So you're saying that we shouldn't be concerned if someone is revealed to be, say, Palpatine?
You present a forceful rebuttal, if you pardon the pun. I can't imagine Sigurd would make Palpatine into a light-side Jedi. Point taken.

I'd much more expect cover roles myself, largely because Sigurd clearly has a lot of respect for the source material. I wouldn't expect him to turn Yoda into the head sith or Palpatine into the expedition leader. But Palpatine disguised as someone with a spotless history is a possibility, why not? Any given grayish character like Dooku being town to begin with would also make sense.

In the Star Wars canon, my character wielded two yellow-hued lightsabers up until his death; one of them was buried with him, the other was given to his former pupil... Plo Koon.

Don't be fooled into thinking Star Wars Canon is consistent.

Having read or played most of the expanded universe stuff, I have come to realize that continuity in Star Wars is not something that happens frequently. As such, Jedi change their lightsaber colors as often as people change toothbrushes.

At no one in particular: I really think it is probably inappropriate to grab images from his photobucket, as that reveals information we have no right to be privy to.

Sure, it's just lightsabers here, ones we would assume were in the game. But what if I took an image of something else and used my knowledge of certain characters being in the game to narrow down who is who?

It's private, but it's still vulnerable to educated guessing based on file names. I did the same thing in Midgard II to help me fake a God role PM by using images that appeared in god roles. I posted all of these to show how easy it is and to head off any further attempts at anyone claiming 'innocence' by posting an easily obtained image.

I also noticed you didn't post a picture of a red-hued lightsaber, by the way; does this mean there wasn't one?
No, it just means I haven't found it yet.

Bad idea in doing that TinCow, really bad idea.

When some one wanted proof of mine, I at least renamed it and reloaded it up imageshack, so then I would know if they tried to use it.

I'm uneasy about the file name guessing, because it is probably directly related to the names of characters, obtained from Wookieepedia.

When in doubt, I'd avoid it. But I see the purpose of your demonstration, TinCow. I won't regard images as proof of anything.
