One thing I noticed, and I may be imagining it, but I notice that people (women esp) are most uncomfortable (and even sometimes afraid) around conservative looking white and Hispanic guys with big frames. They seem to be perfectly comfortable around black and Asian guys, but for some reason I think people think that they think they have something to fear from conservative looking Hispanic and white guys. I mean, there can be a guy with a million piercings and a spiked leather collar and a fishnet shirt walking by who looks like he is high, and it will not bother them, but they will be a little nervous and look behind them if there is a conservative looking (ie, button down shirt, or flannel, short hair, etc) guy behind them (esp if he has a large frame).
I don't know, is that just my experience on or around campus, or is there really something to it?

conservative looking = frat boy . From what I've seen, you're observation holds true in and around campus but away from campus, blacks and alternatives freak women out way more.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

So that its subjects will view it with admiration, as a chicken which has the daring and courage to boldly cross the road,
but also with fear, for whom among them has the strength to contend with such a paragon of avian virtue? In such a manner is the princely
    chicken's dominion maintained. ~Machiavelli

Unless there something in the water up there that makes docile blacks and asians while pumping the whites and hispanics full of murderous rage and test, I think you and your Mexican buddy are just staring at the cute chickadees

ummmm...I never said that they had something to fear from large white and Hispanic men, simply that they seemed to be nervous around them. And I never said that I make people uncomfortable (though I do sometimes :P) and I assure you it has nothing to do with my inability to keep my eyes to myself.

I googled "conservative looking" and I came up with this:

Allthough I admit, it does look frightening. Brrr... Heineken.

I have this issue regularly due to the fast speed at which I walk and the deformed structure of my face. People have actually run away down the street upon noticing me coming up behind them. This is nothing new, people have been terrified of my visage (or at least pretended they were) since second grade.
In one instance I was coming up behind a woman who happened to look back towards me, and she immediately increased her pace. She kept looking back at me again and again but I was still moving faster than her and thus getting closer. It was hilarious to watch her panic as she noticed this last fact. Finally she hid in someone's yard while I went down an alleyway to my destination.
To be honest I find the whole thing ridiculously funny.

    Haha that is hilarious!

I haven't achieved such epic results yet... one day...

I've seen your picture in the photo album thread and I think it's probably safe to say you must be startling people rather than terrifying them.

Yeah, I don't think I look like the kind of person that is scary or creepy... people keep mistaking me for still being at school, I'm finishing my third year of Uni!

Although that pick I posted was taken when I started Uni, but still...

I just realised... if you are thinking of the last photo I posted, that wasn't really me.

Not meaning to be condescending (best word I can think of, gah, lack sleep) when other people pointed it out in the thread, but the only time I posted a picture of myself must have been years ago.
